"We had beautiful large luxurious rooms looking out to sea over the beach and promenade. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The dining room is superb and clearly a favorite with locals. The staff there were very helpful recommending very good €20 wine. Food was delicious. Breakfast with Francesco and Sylvia was fun and a perfect start to the day. Fresh squeezed orange juice by Sylvia a favorite. Francesco made perfect coffee and omelets to order. We loved the bathroom and luxurious bath and separate colorful shower! We used the time to relax after touring round Sorrento and Napoli. Much to see in Lamezzia and with easy access to Tropea by train!"

"Super attentive and friendly staff from Antonio at the Reception to Roberto and the Somellier (we called cousin Bob because he looks exactly like our Cousin Bob), Saverio, who ended up being the owner. Rooms are large and very clean and modern. Entire hotel is less than one year old, and the floors are gleaming marble everywhere. Good breakfast and good dinner options even off season. Showers are phenomenal. Beautiful views of the Sila mountain range. "

"Albergó Céntrale is a jewel in Lamezia. Great breakfast and dinners. Bruno, Lucca, Tania, Teresa, Stefania and our housekeepers all worked hard to ensure we had a pleasurable stay. Lamezia is not a tourist town, so there is not much English spoken. But Bruno and his staff did their best use their English skills and our poor Italian language skills to make our stay enjoyable. I would stay here again, if I come back to town. Parking is difficult. But restaurants, stores, and the plaza is easily walkable. You can get to many restaurants within 100 yards and more on the next street. The people in Lamezia close between 1:30pm and then open back up between 4-7:30pm Many people, young and old are our dining, and walking the streets until after midnight. And the streets are very safe. This hotel was totally remodeled with bright fresh white colors, wood floors, modern technology, good wifi, modern furnishings, and a nice elevator. If you’re in Lamezia stay here, you won’t be sorry, especially if you don’t have a car. We found street parking, but it was challenging. Thank you Bruno and staff!!"
