  • Welcome to The Loft at Riverside, a second-floor retreat for up to two guests with a king bed, full kitchen, comfortable living area, and private deck. Coffee & tea bar with Keurig, Nespresso, French press, hot/cold milk frother, and how water kettle. K-Cups, Nespresso pods, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided.

    Just 10 minutes from Downtown Lancaster, The Loft is a comfortable home base for exploring the surrounding Lancaster County countryside. Please note there is no TV in The Loft and a no-shoes policy.

    Your Property -

    The Loft is a private second-floor retreat designed for up to two guests, with a comfortable king bedroom, full kitchen, inviting living area, and private outdoor deck.
    The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, and the dedicated coffee & tea bar includes a Keurig, Nespresso machine, French press, hot/cold milk frother, and hot water kettle. K-Cups, Nespresso pods, tea bags, sugar, and creamer are provided.
    The living area offers a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring Lancaster County, while the private deck is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding in the evening.
    The Loft is about 10 minutes from Downtown Lancaster, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, local attractions, and the surrounding countryside.
    Please note: there is no TV in The Loft. The apartment is also located above a separate residence, so some normal household noise may occasionally be heard.

    Guest Access -

    You will have private access to The Loft on the second floor of a 2 unit home. The driveway is shared with the tenants, and the walkway to the steps of the deck goes through their back yard. Noise does travel through the floors, so you most likely will hear them a little. Please do not approach the entry door facing Riverside Ave, that is the entry door for the downstairs unit. Please note there is a no shoes policy inside The Loft, and no TV.

    Other details to note -

    Please note the quiet times are 10 PM to 7 AM. The tenants also do their best to honor those quiet times for you. There is no TV in the Loft, and please note there is a no shoes policy inside The Loft.

Great stay!

This was a great location. The property was wonderful and close to everything. We were there for a basketball tournament at Spooky Nook , but made some other awesome discoveries like the Grocery Bargain Outlet, Primanti Brothers, etc., Would highly recommend!

The location is very convenient and easy to find. The loft has a separate entrance and it was all we needed for our training weekend. Overall was a good stay.

Beautifully clean and well appointed . Kitchen could have had more utensils but overall solid good. Late night noise (talking and going in and out) from downstairs tenants but we’d stay again!!!

Amazing time!

This property is beautiful and perfect for two. Everything is so close to all the places we wanted to see and eat at. Host was very responsive and accommodating. We will come back here next time we’re in Lancaster!

Volleyball tournament

Nice place to stay for my daughter’s volleyball tournament, only 14 minute drive to spooky nook sports . Enjoyed proximity to historic Lancaster and visited central market. Owner was responsive to questions and provided detailed check in and check out information.

Lovely decor, great location.

Fabulous place for 2 to 3 people. Travelled with my sister in law, she had the bedroom and I slept on the very comfortable day bed in the living room. Beautiful decor, very clean and well appointed. Would work great for a family off three good space for a child to play..Very safe neighborhood and convenient for sight seeing in Lancaster.

Weekend Birthday Getaway

My husband and I always plan a weekend getaway for my birthday. This was our first time visiting Lancaster, PA and we wanted something that was both close to downtown, but not right in the heart of it. This Loft was the perfect location. Only a 6 minutes drive to downtown Lancaster. The loft was very clean and cozy. It was really everything we needed for the couple of days we were staying. My only critique is that we were only given two towels and one washcloth for the two of us. And we were staying in January, so the nights did get a little chilly. A few extra blankets would have been nice to have on hand. But other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

The place was very clean and comfortable. As for staff we didnt see anyone. It didnt have a TV, we didnt know until the day before, we had to take our shoes off at the bottom of the stairs, not horrible, it was as if we could have no noise for the tenants below. A breaker flipped in the morning when we turned on coffee maker, i alerted the landlord at 730am, we got back at 5ish and nothing was done. We needed the outlets that were connected to the bedroom for hisbands Cpap machine. Landlord didnt get back to us. So we had to go downstairs to the tenants and ask to let us in to flip the breaker. They were kind enough to let us in. I emailed landlord to say what we did and she came back with," allset the tenants fixed it" i replied i know this as it was my husband who had to fix it. Then i messaged that we would be leaving a day early due to the storm, so they could get it cleaned while roads were good, although i think i left it very clean. She replied ok no need to take bedding off, house keepers will do it. Then the original date of departure she messsages me to say everything has to be as it was when we walked in the door and safe travels. We were already home 9 hours away. The tenants below were very noisy, using power tools after 8 PM very loud, for quite a while, but we couldnt make noise. It was nice, clean and warm but there were some flaws.

Everything was great until a severe storm hit the area. The power went out for the multiple neighborhoods, there was flooding in the streets, trees fell all over the place, and there was nothing anyone could do. The place is lovely though and so was the host. I would stay there again, weather permitting.

Everything was great about the stay, my only complaint, and it isn’t that big of complaint was the noise coming from downstairs. I was warned about that, but only after I made the booking. It didn’t occur much at night but late afternoon there seemed to be some hammering going on. Still, I would stay again as it is a nice place.

Very cozy, beautiful place with pretty much everything you need. I love the privacy of the location. There is no television, but i was prepared with a tablet that was loaded with apps to watch movies and my favorite shows. The best was so comfortable, I slept great. Will definitely be visiting again!!!
