"The hotel had very narrow beds and the room was very hot. The breakfast was “OK”. The restaurant had good food but with a waiter who didn’t know anything about the different dishes, wine alternatives or beers. He had to ask everything to the chef! After the main course, we ordered a dessert with some berries and when we saw it was “hjortron” (cloudberry) I said. “Oh, hjortron” as it was a positive surprise for me. "A bit off the beaten track, but still an amazing region and a very exciting place to visit, with high historical value. The hotel is seemingly focusing mostly on conferences and group trips, maybe not much for single visits. Wonderful staff at the reception and in the restaurant, yet it's open only for limited hours but doesn't send out any clear instructions to late-arriving guests. Few choices in the restaurant, but well prepared and creative food. Very well designed and cozy...

"Nice old hotel. Clean, friendly and good location middle of town. Has a hotel bar as well as a small resteraunt in the basement which looks really cute."

"This is a small cabin. The toilet and shower are in the main building. There are 2 bunk beds. Refridgerator, coffee maker, water cooker and a microwave oven. It is not a 5 star hotel. It's a small cabin. But it's cozy and not expensive. And the staff is welcoming. The view is really good - trees and a lake."

"Absolute nightmare of a stay. We emailed before booking this as we were staying for many nights and then planned to come back in 13 days time. They said we could leave our bags thwre and that it was no problem. We have the email to show. The evening we planned to leave, they informed us whoever told us that had lied to us. The manager would not do anything. This cost us thousands in extea baggage fees over our trip. Rooms were not serviced, no fresh towels or anything in 4 days, and the customee service was the worst I have ever dealt with. "
