The mountain view is definitely worth the extra money, plus the balcony is a nice addition. Would stay here again. Didnt use the kitchen at all but it's nice to have just in case. "Our room at the Loden Hotel, Vancouver was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Having traveled all over the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels, cleanliness is top on my list - the Loden exceeded my expectations! Not only is the service excellent, but the room is spacious, impeccable, quiet and comfortable. I would classify this as a luxury boutique hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you need a taxi, it's there in 3 minutes. The restaurant is excellent (though a bit loud) and the location is central to getting anywhere with a short taxi ride or a 20 minute walk. Definitely recommend this hotel."
