**A Wonderful Stay at Dayang Bay Resort, Langkawi** We had a fantastic stay at Dayang Bay Resort in Langkawi! While the hotel is a little dated in some areas, the wonderful staff more than made up for it. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We stayed in the **Family Studio Suite, Sea View**, and were very impressed with how spacious it was. The highlight was definitely the amazing view overlooking the bay and the **Maha Tower**. It was absolutely spectacular, especially at night when the tower lights up — such a beautiful sight to enjoy from the room. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The combination of the spacious family room, stunning views and genuinely friendly staff made our stay memorable. **I would definitely recommend Dayang Bay Resort to anyone visiting Langkawi, especially if you can get a sea-view room!

The sea view was great and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. However, there were a few things to take note of. The power points on the balcony didn’t work, so we had to check around the apartment to find out which ones were working. No toothbrushes were provided initially. They only provided them after we requested, so it’s better to bring your own toiletries. For food, I would recommend grabbing food from outside as it’s much cheaper. Only one restaurant at the resort was open during our stay, and the prices were quite expensive. There are some shops outside, but the choices are limited. There are also 24/7 shops nearby, which are convenient for emergency purchases. Breakfast was fair—not too bad, but nothing special. Room cleaning could also be improved. The cleaning was quite basic, and the restroom wasn’t properly cleaned. Also, do check whether the balcony has been cleaned, as ours wasn’t cleaned until we specifically asked them to do it. One good thing is that Parade Mall is right beside the resort. It has a supermarket, money changers, and baby shops, which was very convenient for us.

I love the openness of the lobby to the outside. very relaxing and inviting. The breakfast definitely caters to the middle east and south east Asia cuisine. The views are great. You will have to travel to another town to use beach Lots to see locally.

I stayed my family for the weekend and just loved this place. The stay was great. Breakfast was amazing. We took a pool facing room, which was one of the good things we did. Overall Great place. However, the restaurant in the hotel which serves food to the room is not up to the mark. When asked room service for room, and he packed it up and brought is in takeway style and the food was clearly not up the mark.

Dayang Bay Resort exceeded my expectations! I requested a high-floor sea view room, and to my delight, they upgraded me to a stunning room on level 6 with a breathtaking view of Maha Tower. The view was truly unforgettable. The staff's excellent service made my stay even more enjoyable. Pro tip for future guests: If you can, aim for a sea view room on the sixth floor. It makes a huge difference!

Hotel has an impressive reception area and pool. The breakfast however had very limited western options… was defiantly catering to the Muslims… we longed for baked goods… different fruit varieties … bacon… pancakes…. and the coffee was so bad we just steered clear of it by the second day. The pool was beautiful BUT the atmosphere was ruined by the constant repeat of the same 5 songs through the speakers everyday ALL day. We also had to chase down house keeping several times to acquire more toilet paper … house keeping came very late in the day sometimes after 6pm. Our room was spacious and clean .. beds comfortable and staff were all lovely. We loved the location with plenty of choice of restaurants and a shopping mall close by, everything else was a cheap GRAB ride away. Meals from the bar at the pool were delicious. Has so much potential to become a five star just needs to cater for a wider variety of traveller.
View is amazing.
