"Fishing was pretty good for bass and crappie, place has everything you need or want. Hot tub and your own private trails were fantastic. The peddle boat was good for fishing and cruising around. We did not see a single person while staying there and only heard the birds chirp and the owls hoot."

"We had a wonderful stay at Shurtz Overlook! The location was perfect - we were near hiking and local attractions, yet remote enough to allow for the true "getaway" we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings! We had a few minor issues, but Dan & Casey were quick to respond, addressing our issue within the hour. The best part about this cabin was that it was dog friendly! Our pups had the best time - thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with our family!"

Many path lights were broken/smashed/knocked down. Also wish the wagons to haul supplies to our cabin were all terrain. The listing claims they are, but they are extremely worn down and difficult to pull. Anyone won’t even minor mobility issues should not choose this cabin experience.
