Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Day prior to stay I inquired about check in process and was notified property would be unlocked. Made sure to arrive in daylight as other guests arriving after dark. Upon arrival found a fallen nest with dead birds on deck. There were no garbage bags in trash cans and dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Opted not to contact host until I found no dishwasher detergent. Host responded with items needed(dishwasher detergent and trash bags). We still were responsible for emptying former guests dishes. Attempt at getting inside fireplace to work unsuccessful. Was told itās for decoration(listed as an amenity). Tried fireplace on deck but non functioning. Was told to light candles instead or build a fire using @RickPinney. Not sure who that is. Television not cable ready which is understandable at rentals, but Wi-Fi was attempted by all 6 guests on personal devices for streaming to no avail. At this point I was tired of reaching out for assistance a third time. Host was notified of our check out time of 9 AM, but proceeded to contact me with questions regarding her WiFi and troubleshooting.
In regards to bedding, it was clean and comfortable. The downstairs bathroom tub has a constant drip with staining due to water. We enjoyed the area for wineries and hiking, and especially spending time with 6 friends of nearly 5 decades. However dealing with constant issues weighed on the experience.

This was a good size space - We had 8 adults, a baby and a dog. It's unfortunate that the deck with the comfortable seating and lake view was outside a bedroom. The living room space was very good and suited our entire clan. Kitchen worked well. One bedroom had access through another bedroom but we made it work. Enjoyed our stay.
