"The hotel was nice with the bar and restaurant and overall was clean but the room was very stuffy as there was no proper ventilation and the ac/heater did a very poor job, no vent in the bathroom and over was not the best but I guess if your on a tight budget it would work "

"We loved this place! Cheap accommodations, but high value. Reception was welcoming and informational. The room was small but ingeniously designed, and it was easy to get our bags unpacked and things put away. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the water hot. The bed was very comfortable and there is storage under the bed and on a shelf behind it. The location is also excellent, walking distance from nearly everything you want to see and close to the street car. And parking was easy in their underground garage. Highly recommended."

"Great hotel in Bordeaux ! The lobby was amazing with a giant dog ( the mascot at the lobby ) greeting you each morning at the breakfast buffet . The breakfast buffet was awesome . The rooms were clean and there's free coffee plus sodas and biscuits / cookies ( at the adjacent kitchenette ) . There are trams below the hotel and there is a shopping mall just in front of the hotel . No need to take the tram going to the city centre because it's within walking distance . There is a McDonald's at the bottom of the hotel if one is sick of eating French cuisine . There is also an Apple Store at Sainte-Catherine street . "

"Tonight I stayed at JOST Hôtel Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean in Bordeaux, which cost £80 per night. Everything seemed fine when I first arrived, but I was extremely disappointed once I checked into the room. The room design felt like a small box — very cramped and stuffy. One thing that really surprised me was that the sink was placed right next to the bed, which made the space feel more like a compact cabin than a comfortable hotel room. The bathroom had a transparent glass door, which meant there was almost no privacy. This design might be suitable for young couples who are comfortable with that setup, but it’s not ideal if you are travelling with friends or simply prefer more privacy. There was also no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. After showering, you either have to leave your clothes on the sink outside the bathroom or on the bed. That means you may have to step out of the shower and walk outside to get dressed, which felt quite awkward. Overall, the layout and practicality of the room did not work well for me. Unfortunately, this is not a hotel I would choose to stay at again. One positive surprise was the breakfast the next morning. It was actually very good, with a nice selection and much better than I expected.
