"The Chalet" at Lake Mokoma

#17 LMA The Chalet: 215 Fountain Avenue, Laporte PA 18626

The Chalet is located on the West shore of Lake Mokoma. A few minutes’ walk to the lake. Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or take a ride in the kayaks or rowboat at our private dock. In the morning, you can walk around the lake (approx. 3 mi.) and enjoy all that nature has to offer and, in the evening, you can sit out back around the open fire pit. The Chalet offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 people. Enjoy sitting on the front screened in porch and eating meals on the back screened in porch. This is a non-smoking cottage and pets are not permitted. Wi-Fi is available but cannot be guaranteed. Linens and towels are provided. There is plenty of parking available. Please visit Lake Mokoma Association website for the temporary membership, boating & fishing rules, etc:

Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia
