"Good"

"Despite this being a modern and clean hotel with excellent amenities I can’t rate it highly as I barely got any sleep due to the noise. The walls seemed paper thin and the gaps in the door allowed hallway noise in most of the night. A security guard or hotel worker was on our floor at 2am with their communication radio at full volume for what seemed like 30 minutes. Then on top of this our air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night and our room was really warm. It was a rough night. Too bad as otherwise the hotel seems nice, thought they could use some vegan options in the breakfast buffet."

"Wow! What a great resort. There was constantly people mopping, cleaning, landscaping, prepping food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rooms were very clean with great views to the ocean! The pool is so big there were many options of areas to swim. The variety of restaurants to eat at made it very exciting to try something different each night. The staff is amazing, and the riu crew by the pool for activities was so lively and fun. Highly recommend"

"Nice spot right on the beach—you can literally step out and watch the sunset, and hear the waves from your room. The hotel manager even stepped in personally to help us, which was a nice touch. Super secure place, and the staff are very friendly and always trying to help. It is a bit pricey for the level of the hotel, but that seems to be Costa Rica in general."

"Good spot for a quick stay before heading out of Liberia airport. Place is well kept, staff are super helpful, and it’s really close to the airport which makes things easy. Only downside—the AC is pretty old and noisy."

"The pool is large and nice! Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Transportation around the grounds is readily available. Vendors bother you on the beach, constantly. "

"Pool was ok. Room was falling apart- Celing fan made horrible noise. Asked to fix it or move us and they turned to low and said that’s good. Only 2 working elevators in whole property and used by staff as well as guests. Staff was mostly nice. We were put in a room above the kitchen near the stage and it was always loud. TVs didn’t work properly as if connected to antenna but showed frozen screens for many channels. Only BBC channel in English. We were told they are refurbishing soon. I hope it gets better for the next people. Restaurants not amazing buffet not kept at safe temperatures. We Love bees but they were overwhelming at the pool bar. "
