We advised you on 12/15/23 of the intent of the HOA to close the property pool and spa for renovations and reiterated again on 1/2/24. We provided the information of the alternative pool/spa available at the complex a 5-10 minute walk away and provided instructions and directions. It was not known that the pedestrian bridge to access the other complex would be closed due to the Superbowl teams staying in the community at the hotels as a security precaution. You claimed "there's so much security we can't get anywhere" (from VRBO conversation thread). We then contacted the Lake Las Vegas patrol, the Village contact person and the Viera community manager to get an idea of what was going on. They all reported everything was business as usual with no disruptions due to teams on site other than at the Hilton and the pedestrian bridge being closed. We responded back to you with that information, and you stated "to be honest the only inconvenience was the pedestrian bridge being closed and a 20-minute walk now". Although the rental agreement states that we are not responsible for amenities that are provided by the HOA not being available, and therefore no refunds, we still offered you compensation in good faith. When you stated that you would likely not return to the area and requested something for the current stay, we offered a discount on your current stay after successful check-out, in the range you suggested. You responded, "Thank you". We do not leave condiments other than packets of salt and pepper and sugar due to health concerns since the pandemic. We will certainly instruct the housekeeper to check for any unsuitable linens understanding they are of a commercial quality due to the nature of use. Considering when you booked you stated you were getting cancelled by other hosts, likely due to the Superbowl and your travel plans ending the morning of, we were as communicative and accommodating to your concerns the entire stay as possible from start to finish, including compensation we were not obligated to offer. The booking was a short notice booking on Jan 1 for a stay starting Jan 8. On January 2 we advised of the pending pool closure and the availability of pool and spa at a different complex in the village as an alternative. There was no response with any questions or concerns from you. That is all clearly documented in the VRBO email thread. We were not advised of the nature of the type of work and on what days other than the closure dates for renovations. We were at the community and did observe the removal of the plaster which lasted a few days. We agreed to be outside the noise level would have not been enjoyable during that process, however with the unseasonable cold spell the first 2 weeks of the year, most time would likely be spent inside where we personally observed the noise level to be minimally disruptive. Although we cannot control actions taken by the HOA, a reasonable accommodation was arranged for the use of a pool and spa and the outside noise disruption was for part of your stay, we offered you an unsolicited compensation. You indicated you were visiting family and thought you might regularly return to the area, and if you liked the unit could return in better weather to enjoy not only the outdoor patio, but the renovated pools and spa as well. The compensation terms you claim we offered in your review are inconsistent with what was actually offered and perhaps if you have an opportunity to reread the email thread you will see that. There was no immediacy required to re-book and were more generous. As you can see from our review history, we do our best to communicate and accommodate our guests. Although this was a matter beyond our control, we were communicative, arranged for substitute pool and spa access and offered compensation for noise disruption for part of your stay as a courtesy. We are disappointed we did not meet your expectations.

There is an illuminated sign at street with front lobby illuminated as well with street number displayed. The underground parking garages each are identified by "P1" and "P2", the same as in the check in instructions. We schedule deep cleanings periodically and next one was scheduled in November after we have the trim and doors repainted as part of our ongoing maintenance/upgrade plan. With the construction next door this summer the dust created perhaps was a little more than expected.
