The accommodations were suitable, I had no issues with the location, cleanliness or the amenities.
My issues lie solely with the staff, the HGV sales people and the overall messaging of this resort. If you are not an owner/member of HGV do not waste your time here. They treat you like crap. There are so many restrictions to staying here if you are not a member. For instance there was no seating in the pool era and the entire top half of the pool seating was dedicated to just members and it sat empty the entire time while no one could find open beds or seating. Plus the pool is FREEZING cold, they lie and say it’s heated…it is not.
Then please do not do the “Sales Presentation” their sales tactic is to insult you, and make you seem stupid for paying for vacations to manipulate you to join their membership. It is not worth whatever they are promising for 90 mins of your time. The sales person we met with so rude, he left me speechless. He basically said it was because we were “poor” that’s why we didn’t want to sign up for the membership. It was a surreal experience. I will never make the mistake of booking this property ever again.
