"We had a great time visiting with family, the hot tub is perfect for watching shooting stars! If you are looking for a quiet, private location, this is perfect! There were deer nearby every day to see thru the windows, and Rick, the host was very responsive. The kitchen well stocked as well!"

"No ac for summer visits and that sucks when your from Texas and need 65 to 70 degrees to sleep and fans to make noise they could invest in ceiling fans and not some dollar general 5 dollars fans that barley move air overall the place is beautiful and has plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies to cook and be self efficient without spending hundreds of dollars on restaurants I will absolutely be back the views are great and the trails behind the subdivision are amazing"

"Our stay was as close to perfect as you can get. The house is beautiful inside and out. The design, architecture and decor were fabulous. It is truly a special place. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is very well equipped, having everything we could possibly need. It offers a rare combination of seclusion, privacy, beauty and breathtaking views while also being central to many locations such as Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, Black Canyon and surrounding areas. My only complaint was having to decide whether we should hang out and relax at the house or explore the property and vast surrounding areas and their related activities. If you are concerned with the fact that it is off grid, don’t be! You’ll never notice. Electric, (hot)water, WiFi, gas, etc. are all plentifully available without interruption. For those thinking about renting in the summer of 2026 (like us), do not let the news of wildfires keep you away. There was no evidence of fire or smoke in the areas mentioned above and locals, shop owners, etc. were all friendly and happy to have us in their towns and patronizing their businesses. I highly recommend this property!! We stayed for six nights and would have loved to stay longer."

"House was a great base camp for my family and dog. We were able to split our time between ouray and silverton along with telluride. The house had everything we needed, and the porch overlooking the area with great Mountain View’s and Mt Sneffels was the perfect place to unwind after hiking"
