The Terrence restaurant was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, except for the breakfast restaurant. They seemed annoyed when we asked for poached eggs, there were no cups left for tea or coffee. Again, they said 'aren't there any at your table". Impatient when we asked for help. We had the Balmoral suite, the view was incredible. It was a superior room and the bath was very deep and luxurious. The grounds were very relaxing.

For the price the King Bed room was good. We wouldn’t rate it more than that, although the staff were outstanding for check-in. Food options were okay for one night: we wouldn’t stay longer: convenient location just south of Launceston. We much prefer the Wrest Point Casino, in all regards. We rate our stay 3.5/5.

Staff are profesional not too engaging. The room clean spacious , beds super comfortable. The only problem was the shower, pressure not strong and couldn't keep the temperature, it was hard to shower because it will go freezing or boiling hot, which took longer to shower and wasted so much more water, that happened everyday at different times of the day, not an isolated situation. Also guests should know that the hotel parking is quite a distance from your oom, for those with mobility problems. But overall a very nice property

The Country Club is just an excellent place to stay. It has easy parking. The rooms are lovely and clean. Food of many options available. Compared to its sister accommodation in Hobart, Wrest Point it is head and shoulders above it in every respect.
