Norwood Serenity - ideal for families and groups

Magnificent Executive house which is ideal for families and groups. The house was built in 2017 and is surrounded by contemporary and quality homes.

The space

You will love the feeling of the house - light and bright with plenty of room to move. When you are back from your travels, you can relax and unwind on the alfresco deck, the breakfast bar or the couches in front of the large screen TV with Foxtel.
Guests also enjoy the free Wi-Fi for their stay at Norwood Serenity.

Bedding configuration:

Main Bedroom with ensuite - Queen Bed.
2nd Bedroom - Queen Bed.
3rd Bedroom - 4 x Single Beds.
4th Bedroom - 3 x Single Beds.
5th Bedroom - 2 x Single Beds.

Total of 9 beds which comfortably sleep 13 people.

The laundry features a washing machine . The house is warm and cosy in the winter with two new heat pumps and also stays naturally warm with the sunshine that beams in. The windows are double glazed which makes it energy efficient and also very quiet.

Norwood is a residential suburb 5 kilometres south-east of the central business district of Launceston, Tasmania s 2nd largest city.

Great access to the city of Launceston s Cataract Gorge & First Basin where you will find walking and hiking trails, the world s longest single span chairlift, swimming pool, restaurant, kiosk, café peacocks and wildlife, beautiful gardens, suspension bridge and panoramic lookouts with spectacular views. The house is also ideal to access the highways for adventures North (eg. Cradle Mountain), East (Wineglass Bay) or South (Hobart).

A day before your arrival we will supply you with a 4 digit access code for the front door (no need to worry about keys).

We will give our guests some space however we are on hand if you have any questions or need us to point you in the right direction with some local tips.

Plenty room to accommodate 11 to 12 adults. Chris (host) was so helpful on anything from ahead of checking in to adding extra adult without hesitation. Gorgeous location, spacious spotless-clean home with many thoughtful details; stunning views over mountains and paddocks with sunlight filtering in. Property manager was quick to respond and beyond hospitable, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Would love to stay again for our next visit!

We came to Tasmania for a wedding and we had our family, my sisters family and our Dad all stay here. It was wonderful! There was something for all ages of kids. The littles liked the toys, the teens enjoyed the games room and the adults loved sitting outside soaking up the sun and beautiful view. The VRBO had everything we needed. All of us, including all the kids, would stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful house in a wonderful location. The host Chris was a pleasure to deal with. There were 6 ladies staying and we were out everyday touring everyday for a week, to come back to the house was just blissful. Could not fault anything .

House was perfect for a family, can even fit a large family. Plenty of beds and space. Billiards table was great. Nice and quiet location but not far from the main roads / highways. Highly recommend. Owners / managers very easy to deal with. Super simple check-in.

Very nice house.

The property was very clean and nice but there were just a few things wrong with the games room and the bathroom with the bath. The snooker table was riped which I was told but it was a bit worse than I thought. The foolsball table was broken. The rowing machine one of the foot stays was broken and the hand held shower spray was leaking from the back but overal the stay was very nice. O just one more thing the internet was very very slow.
