Hotel needs an update. Great location but rooms very dated. Toilet stained and carpet in hallways bubbled so I tripped - a definite hazard for an older person.

Great location as was able to walk to most places during our stay. Room was clean & decor was quite different but suited the building.

Commodore Regent Launceston
Bed is very hard and uncomfortable. Very hot in room, and air conditioner not up to the job. Rooms close to road are noisy due to Launceston's abundance of motoring enthusiasts with noise enhanced cars. Opened window to try and cool room but of course it is then even noisier. I asked for a room further ...
