"I had a mixed experience with this stay. Initially, everything was going well, and the property itself met our expectations. The host was responsive and provided helpful information ahead of time.However, we had informed the host in advance that we would be having a small family gathering for my one-year-old, and this seemed to become an issue during our stay. Neighbors began complaining not about noise or music but about the number of cars. They even took photos of our guests and appeared to be watching us throughout the event, which made everyone feel uncomfortable. As a result, we had to cut our gathering short, which was very disappointing given that we paid close to 2,500 for the property.Checkout was also unpleasant. The cleaning crew arrived while we were still finishing up, and one staff member was extremely rude, telling us to hurry even though we were only slightly behind schedule.After we left, the host requested an additional 442.77 for things like refilling the hot tub and extra trash near the bins.This felt unreasonable, especially since they were aware of our gathering beforehand. When we declined, it seemed like they still expected payment, which came across as an attempt to upcharge us.Overall, while the home itself met our expectations and communication was decent, the experience felt uncomfortable and ended on a negative note due to how we were treated."
