Was looking for a nice place to stay while on a trip to Hocking Hills. Wanted something outside of town, with a nice view and plenty of room. This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was about a 20 minute drive to most places which was not an issue at all as the scenery when travelling was amazing. Property was exactly as described, the theater room was used every night to unwind and the back patio view was great. Did not get a chance to use the hot tub, but it was located under the enclosure by the entrance and very easy to get to. Having a full kitchen with plates and silverware was also very handy as we often had breakfast before we left to go to the parks. There were plenty of rooms, two bathrooms and dressers and closets galore. The only issues we had were that the bathroom in the main room needed some extra attention, especially the shower. The shower floor was very slippery. The floors throughout the unit felt sticky from the cleaner used on the floors, but we all had house shoes we brought along for just wearing indoors. Despite these smaller issues, was well worth the price and would rent again in the future. Did reach out to the host before we left with a question and they were very helpful and easy to deal with!

Lazy Bear had everything and then some we needed for a girls weekend. The entire space was incredibly clean and organized. The amenities were great, especially the movie room and hot tub. Overall excellent stay!

Beautiful secluded location within 20 minutes to Hocking Hills Star Park! Hocking Hills was worth the visit however make sure to find a restroom before starting any trail because it is a long one way trail. Hocking Valley train robbery was a fun family adventure

Wonderful cabin! Bigger tan we expected, beautiful views, great hot tub, comfortable furnishings, kitchen well stocked. Would definitely stay again. Would be a little hard to get to in snow.

Fantastic cabin

Had very relaxing evenings after our days hiking. Between the hot tub, arcade games and theatre room, you couldn’t get a better place to stay. Extremely clean and comfortable with many extras you don’t normally get.

We had the best long weekend. Close to everything we wanted to do and all the extra amenities were amazing. The guys loved the movie room especially because it was opening football weekend. The hot tub was great for after hiking and the morning view is incredible!

We met our daughter and her friend and family here for a weekend getaway from OU. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for cooking and play. We had a nice weekend at this cabin. Loved the views. Watching the sunrise and mist over the hills in the early morning was gorgeous! We had fun playing the arcade games, watching a movie in the theater room, and soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day after a hike. It was so great to leave our busy lives and connect with nature in southern Ohio!

Wedding week

My son got married at Ash Cave this past week. We stayed at Lazy Bear cabin. This place is awesome. The view out the front door is amazing while having a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The location is within distance of Hocking Hills State Park and many activities. Great place to stay. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfection!

We were looking for a RELAXING and PEACEFUL weekend away, and we found it at the Lazy Bear! My husband loves movies, games and hot tubs so he was thoroughly impressed and busy all weekend ;) I was able to unwind with beautiful views while reading books. Hocking Hills Memorial Week

The home is nicely secluded from traffic or other people. Sitting outside at night we heard nothing but nature. We were still just ten to fifteen minutes away from any of the hiking trails and attractions in the park. The home is a very relaxing place to spend time watching movies in the theater room or playing games at the kitchen table. We had a great week there.
