"This hotel is located about 20 minutes from Amboise on a large piece of property! It has an old well kept main building where breakfast and dinner are offered along with rooms. We stayed in the garden suites * Mimoasa and it was spacious with a king size bed. A fridge would have been nice as would a safe but apparently they are being included in the upgrade. Given that there is no convenience store or grocery near by the fridge would be very useful. The pool was lovely and we played golf on the putting green which was adjacent to the property which was so much fun:) Jordan was very helpful in assisting with anything that you needed."

"This is a complicated review, please read to the end.We were a party of 19, from 78 years old down to 1 year old. The children had a wonderful time, in the pool all day, playing in the grounds, and safe cycling along the lovely river. The adults spent many happy hours on the terrace, reading, eating chatting and drinking. It was supremely relaxing.The bedrooms were numerous and all had en suite.Gil, the concierge-property manager could not have been more friendly and helpful.However, the property is quite run down. The bathrooms varied in their functionality. The kitchen was inadequate for such a large property and the electrics were temperamental All that being said, we had a wonderful holiday and it was exceptional value for money.If you are a large multi-generational family group it may be the best venue. But it is imperfect. Four stars seems fair."
Gîte in the castle - swimming pool with view - charm, history and nature

"This is a very special property and I recommend it highly.It is very much a chateau/castle as per the photos, with lovely wood floors, styled ceilings, antique furniture. The beds are old fashioned but comfortable. The bathrooms are all modern and well equipped with good showers. The place is exceptionally well equipped - everything you could possibly need when it comes to dining and cooking. On arrival, there were some supplies to start us off till we could get to the shops, which was very generous. Everything is of very good quality and you are trusted to use lovely things. There was huge assortment of drawing and colouring materials and toys for the children, also board games. The pool is lovely and a good size. There is an amazing pool house which again is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge, and cooking facilities including a bbq.Phillipe and Marina live on site in another part of the chateau. They were perfect hosts, completely unobtrusive but helpful when we had questions. We stayed for two weeks, a family of three couples and two children. I'm not sure anyone ever bbq'd as much as we did, and Phillipe and Marina certainly had a lot to put up with, as we generated a lot of recycling and compost and so on, which they quietly dealt with along with keeping the pool clean, a challenge as the kids were in the pool from morning till night!Thank you so much to both of them for a most amazing stay and we would love to be able to return.,"

"Heerlijke week met familie gehad in dit huis! Veel potjes tennis, tafeltennis en jeu de boules gespeeld. Heel fijn zwembad. Leuk dat er allemaal verschillende plekjes en hoeken zijn in de tuin waar je kan zitten. Fijn dat zoveel gezellige spullen in het huis aanwezig waren, zoals tafelkleden en sport/spel."

"C'était absolument parfait sur toute la ligne! Les chambres, la salle à manger, le jardin et la piscine nous ont ravis. Le déjeuner était exquis. Nos hôtes ont été charmants et très gentils avec nos 2 enfants. Le site est calme et central pour les visites des châteaux et villages magnifiques des environs. Mon seul regret est que notre séjour ait été de seulement 6 jours. Je rêve déjà d'y retourner. Je vous recommande cette hotel à 100% et les yeux fermés."

"Gîte de très bonne qualité dans une région proche de nombreux sites touristiques avec point fort une piscine très agréable (en dehors de la terrasse en mauvais état) Chambres cuisine séjour et sanitaires parfaits Frigos et congélateurs un peu limites pour 30 personnes Beaucoup de guêpes lord des repas extérieurs liés peut-être à la proximité du centre équestre"
