But the village of Killin is only about 2 miles away and has a good supermarket, several restaurants and coffee shops, all very convenient. And the beautiful Falls of Dochart are an added attraction. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, including a gift of homemade shortbread and some locally made whisky. Tilly, the dog, dropped in to hello too and visited us daily and was absolutely no trouble at all. The accommodation is in an ideal location which made days away very easy and accessible.
