Secluded Cozy Cedar Wood Cabin in 20 acres of native woods, on the Paw Paw river
If you love nature you will enjoy this secluded cedar wood cabin (circa 1970) situated in the canopy of southwest Michigan’s beautiful woods. This is a place to unplug, enjoy the Paw Paw river and the property, experiencing the nature that surrounds you.
The location is unique. The woods are untouched and lovely every season. The cabin is traditional with some modern updates - kitchen, underfloor heating on the main level, filtered water. And it has retained its original 70's gothic charm. The location affords you complete privacy and easy access to a host of public access lakes - including lake Michigan - which is a 20 minute drive. There are lovely towns located close by and trails to hike and bike in the area. If you are looking for a hidden gem, right on the river, this is your find.

Its a wonderful place, surrounded by woods and feels secluded, but within driving distance to all you would want to do. We enjoyed this so much, river out the door for fishing, fire at night and walking through the woods.
Overall the property was great. It was close to everything we wanted to do while in the area. The volleyball net made for fun games and the cabin had the right amount of seclusion.
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. There's enough space that you can spread out and relax, or gather all together and play games, or read on the cozy screened in porch. We enjoyed playing outside and exploring the woods, but make sure you bring plenty of bug spray in the summer! Overall a great stay and our host was friendly and gave lots of good info about the local area.

Cabin needs to be thoroughly cleaned on inside and outside, including screened in porch/carpeting needs to be replaced/update main floor shower
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Check-in was easy and Rebecca was very responsive when we messaged her with questions. The cabin is located in a very private wooded location next to the Paw Paw river. It was a very quiet and peaceful setting. We had everything we needed for our stay. The screened in porch overlooking the river was a wonderful place for our morning coffee. The cabin is close to both South Haven and Paw Paw. We explored both towns while we were there. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.
Very secluded and serene. The cabin fit our family perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was quick to respond and very helpful and nice. They even had a little gift basket for us with stuff to make s'mores which the kids loved! The only negative thing I could say is that it was not very clean when we arrived so having to pay for a cleaning fee should mean that it is clean to start. Other than that it was a very nice rustic secluded place that allowed us to get one with nature and reconnect!!! Thank you for opening your home to us!
