The house is even better than expected. The pictures don't even do it justice. It is more spacious and was very clean. All the basic appliances needed are there, even an air fryer. There was even water in the fridge for us. I would definitely book again!

I would like to start by saying that I did not get the check in email from the host. I had to call VRBO to get it. At arrival, we saw a notice from the sanitation department on the door, stating the vegetation was too high (which is was). Upon entering, we were greeted with an incredibly strong smell of marijuana & cigarette smoke. Next, we discovered only 5 towels total(no hand towels or wash cloths). There were 8 of us. When I had corresponded earlier with the host, I had specifically asked if there would be towels for 8, and I was assured there would be The host did not respond, to me, or to VRBO about the towels. After several calls to VRBO, I went ahead and purchased towels for the group. Later that night, we discovered only 5 spoons & 5 forks total! The host never responded about this! In the morning, some drain flies were observed in the upper bathroom. The upper bathroom did not have a shower curtain. The water pressure was not good, and only increased when making it so hot that no human could shower in it. The toilet seat was 1/2 broken. AC's not set up well. The upper floor transition was sticking up & my niece(11) ripped her sock & cut her foot on it. The house is in the fly path of JFK, so planes are landing constantly. It is difficult to sleep. The house is near a fire station, which goes off periodically. The screen doors did not have hinges. There were no dressers for our clothes. Only 2 bedrooms had a tv. I would not recommend to stay here!

The home was amazing. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Being a big family, it was difficult finding somewhere that can host all of us, but we found this gem and I'm glad we did. I will definitely recommend and will stay again
