"When we arrived, he gave us tea at his house, and then we went to the camp to see the tent. The tent is excellent and one of the best rooms I have ever lived in. "I stayed at Wadi Rum for one night. The owner provided dinner for me free of cost because we arrived late. The dinner was chicken, rice and vegetables along with ample amount of tea. Mohammad, the person running the camp was a nice man and we had a pleasant conversation along with a Polish family. The camp is basic with no amenities in the bathroom but thats the whole point of camping. This is not luxury camping but the people running the camp are very hospitable. "if you are not take that substandart desert tour for 35 JD which is on the way to the camp three stops for a while, you will be told that transfer to camp and back would cost you 50 JD. They say they will take me to the visitor center at 8 am but turn out to be 9 am so I missed one petcisous hour and could not visit Mt Nebo properly."

"Atallah didn't know or forgot he had a reservation. A few different guides and accommodations' people called Atallah for me (closed/no answer) or commented that Atallah didn't have any reservations. Seems like they all know each other; and 'Atallah" is a common name. But, it came down to me leaving Wadi Rum for Aqaba instead."
