Roof-top pool delight
Overall a good stay, roof-top pool brilliant as was restaurant balcony though food including breakfast was mediocre and expensive. Surprised to discover hotel bar & restaurant were closed on Monday like all the cafes/restaurants in Le Bugue apart from one place over the bridge called L'Entrot Pot which saved the day! Usual struggle in France to get any vegetarian food as well.

Top floor. Great views over the square and river.
The hotel is well placed for shops and eating places. Our room was good, with good amenities. The lift is slow and old fashioned. Staff helpful and pleasant. Car parking free on adjacent square.

Nice 3 star hotel with very good restaurant
A nice hotel in a lovely setting. Rooms were average but it is 3 star. The restaurant is excellent. We ate there 3 nights out of 6. Food and drink reasonably priced which is unusual for a hotel. Reception staff were very helpful and gave advice about local events. Restaurant and bar staff were very good also. It was a busy time so parking in front of the hotel was difficult but we managed to park just over the bridge with a two minute walk. Lovely swimming pool on the roof but it was too hot to use it when we stayed. Pool towels are available

Pleasant hotel right in the centre of Le Bugue
The staff very welcoming on arrival, very helpful throughout our stay. Found it a safe and secure hotel. Rooms always well cleaned & a generous breakfast for the price. Nice views when able to sit outside and look over the river. The room was noisy as there was work going on & all the traffic stopped under our windows from early in the morning. Hopefully that would not always be the case. The only real complaint is that there were no TV programs in English. Perhaps that will be addressed in their planned upgrade. Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in the hotel.

Wonderful location, right on the river Vezere.
We booked a river view room and loved it. Le Bugue is a quiet town at night. This allowed us to open the door to the balcony and enjoy the river. The room was very large even by US standards and huge by French standards. The restaurant - atmosphere, food, and service was very nice. Very important to us is WIFI and it performed great.

Room was clean and well serviced, a bit too small though and bed was a bit basic. Location excellent and no problem parking. Reception staff were very helpful especially with getting taxi when badly needed. Would stay here again if ever in Le Bugue but would ask for their bigger room with decent size bathroom.

Great location: river view above the Vezere.
Great location and a nice facility. Right across the street from the Farmers Market. Our balcony overlooked the Vezere--lovely.

Hôtel très bien situé en bordure de rivière. Le personnel est très sympathique. Dommage que toutes les chambres ne soient pas équipées avec un lit double de160 × 200.

C'est vrai que l'ensemble mériterait un peu de modernité. La salle de bain que nous avions aurait eu besoin d'évoluer..elle était grande mais baignoire. La chambre avait ete refaite elle était grande spacieuse trés bien..un regret sur le petit déjeuner a 12euros avec que du thé noir. Pas de thé vert et confiture en dosette a ce prix on met des produits de qualité.

Des efforts simples à faire.
Hotel idéalement placé, très bon service de la part de l’équipe de réception. Cependant, de vrais soucis de propreté : mouches et moustiques morts depuis des semaines, des nappes sales (taches de café). De plus, il n’y a qu’une seule chaise haute, en bois, et branlante, bref dangereuse. Les deux réhausseurs sont vraiment très sales, j’ai poussé mon fils à ne pas en vouloir tellement je trouvais ça dég… Vraiment dommage, parce que l’hôtel à des avantages. Mais l’hygiène ne mérite pas trois étoiles.

Personnel avenant et sympathique, restaurant copieux et très bon, hotel propre mais franchement défraîchi avec peinture écaillée sur les plinthes et boiseries des chambres, mini frigo qui fuit, télévision minuscule, bruit de la rue franchement désagréable et couloirs et ascenseur visiblement pas refaits depuis les annees 80.... En résumé, sympathique mais pas vraiment 3 étoiles comme annoncé.

Hôtel qui demande un rafraîchissement pour la partie des couloirs. Nous disposions d une chambre côté rue assez bruyante. Le lit était confortable et le petit-déjeuner correct dans une très belle salle. Nous l avons pris à l extérieur terrasse côté rivière ce qui était très agréable. La piscine était froide malgré des températures de jour tres élevée : manque d l échelle était mal calée et faisait du bruit. Pas d originalité non plus sur la terrasse. Un peu déçue par rapport aux photos visualisée sur internet. Le prix n était pas très élevé.

onze kamer was redlijk ok wel veek lawaai, kamers zijn niet geisoleerd, horen alles van de hele gang keuken is een verschrikking, vroegen biefstuk : eentje saillant en eentje a-point saillant was ok, maar a-point was bijna bleu de frietjes waren opengebarsten en helemaal niet lekker, kregen mayonaise uit een prefabplastiekje, was zéér onvoldoende en smakeloos ontbijt was een lachtertje : zelfbedieningsbuffet en inbegrepen in de kamerprijs wij hadden elk één minibroodje genomen, pech toen we wilden bijhalen : alles was op de verantrwoordelijke voor het buffet was verdwenen Er kwamen nog een 10 à 15 mensen binnen voor het ontbijt, zij hebben moeten gaan bonsen op de deur van de keuken (na een hele tijd uiteraard en nog 45 minuten voor het einde ) sorry maar dit was fawlty towers de tweede en laatste dag zijn we elders geweest
