La Casa de Babou

Charming new villa of 82 m2 contemporary and on one level, with quality services perfectly equipped. This villa has been finished since the summer of 2023. An electric gate facilitates access to the avenue.
A large terrace with outdoor furniture and parasol allows you to enjoy the morning sun.
A garden area with sun loungers is also very relaxing.
An outdoor kitchen allows the consumption of fish and shellfish throughout your stay.

THE ACCOMMODATION
Independent and bright, the Casa de Babou has all the comforts with its beautiful living/dining room living area and its fully equipped kitchen.
In each bedroom, there is a 160 cm bed. One of them has direct access to the bathroom. There is a second toilet.
Bed linen is provided and the beds will be made for your arrival. If you wish, I provide towels (1 bath towel, a towel and a glove per person). Beach towels (foutas) are also available.
In this house you will find all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay.
In the kitchen: coffee maker (Tassimo), kettle, toaster, induction hob, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer. A bar area with 2 stools.
In the living/dining room: a table and 4 chairs, 2 sofas and a TV.
In the pantry, adjoining the kitchen: washing machine and dryer, clothes dryer, wardrobe, shelves.
In the summer kitchen: a gas hob, sink and cupboards.
On the terrace: a table, chairs, a parasol, deckchairs.
The courtyard is closed with an electric gate. 2 vehicles can be parked there. Motorhomes are not allowed. Parking for 4 bicycles is available in the courtyard.
In the garden area, sun loungers are available. An outdoor shower allows you to refresh and sand off.
THE LOCATION
The villa is located 20 minutes walk from the centre of the Castle. The cycle path passes in front of the house and there is a large bicycle parking area at the entrance of the Castle.
You can discover the Castle market which is open every morning and which has the particularity of going XXL on Sunday mornings.
Walks along the Ramparts, with a view of the Ocean, lead to the Citadel, to the Port where you will discover the very colourful huts.
A cycle path will take you to the beach of Vert-Bois. You will also find beautiful beaches near Boyardville with a view of Fort Boyard.
The island of Oléron lends itself well to family bike rides: little relief and 140 km of cycle paths. A guide to these walks can be found at home.
