Parking spaces are very tight, even with a reasonably small car, very difficult getting in and out, almost impossible with a baby. "The house is very well placed for the beach (though not overlooking it), walks, the shop and Gustav's bar and restaurant (recommended). We were surprised to find the downstairs bedroom was not self-contained, so the other couple had to walk through to access the very steep stairs, the bathroom and the lavatory. The standard of equipment was high - sophisticated hob/oven, dishwasher and washing machine, but no dinner knives! Noirmoutier is glorious."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast twice while we were there, plenty of options available. The restaurant and bar were unfotunately closed so we had to drive if we didnt want to cook, as the hotel is a little tucked away. The room itself was very nice and the kitchenette was well equiped. The only downside was there wasn't anywhere to sit and eat,the balcony chairs had seen better days and only had a small drinks table and inside was a a sofa with a glass coffee table so you would need a tray to eat on your lap. There was a writing desk with a tv, but only one chair. The bed was very comfotable and the bathroom was a good size. Overall a nice stay."
