"We spent 5 nights in this hotel, we booked a very spacious sea view room with huge nice bathroom. A fairly well-stocked sweet breakfast, not exceptional; for those who like savory, there wasn't much choice. Restaurants nearby. Crossing the road you find the famous beach of Flic en flac. The only flaw is that if you arrive on the weekend the locals flock to the beach all day, from the sunset until late they listen to very loud music from their cars😬. "We stayed here for our honeymoon and had such an amazing experience at LUX Le Morne. We loved the surprise gifts on arrival in our room and then followed by champagne and light nibbles. I especially loved that they had made a little schedule of events for us to do during our stay as well. The best part was hearing that there were free beach activities, we enjoyed doing the glass bottom boat tour, stand up padel boarding and snorkelling for free during our stay. We got breakfast only and loved the selection available every morning, I always looked forward to coconut water in the morning and the chia pudding! On our last day I loved that there was a bag for wet items left on our bed it was such a thoughtful touch as we had a late flight. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Aniket at the Bar who would make us the most delicious personalised drinks and gave us a cocktail making class! Also Joshua at reception too for being so welcoming. There are many more staff I have to commend for their hospitality, especially Jason as well who gave us our parting gifts as we left for the airport."

"The cottage was everything we expected. It was stocked with all the utensils we needed for a 7 day stay and being situated in the heart of Le Morne village we could buy food & drink from the local shops and food stalls. Everyone was courteous & helpful with a very lively and entertaining village life surrounding us. My husband thought he could kite to Le Morne kite beach from there but the wind wasn’t in the right direction. We walked to Chill Point, then waded 150m through the lagoon waters to a dirt road with another 1.5km walk to the kite beach. Easy going especially at low tide & great exercise for the day. Hosts were easy to communicate with & helpful with bus trip suggestions. We definitely recommend this property for an authentic Mauritian holiday. "
