"The compact but well maintained gardens and the swimming pool meant we spent more time outside than in our holiday villa!. The bedooms are very comfortable while the kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever seen! Not that we did any cooking! The property is very private, and we were delighted at the variety of birds and colourful lizards and geckos seen in the grounds! The nearby restaurants are varied and excellent, hence no cooking, and there are two supermarkets within a short drive....

"We rented this amazing beautiful house for 1 month. In total we were 5 adults and 4 children. The house feels very spacious; The four bedrooms (all equiped with AC) are all large and have good storage (very good for us who stayed for so long) A living room with modern TV and DVD, and two full bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen in good condition. The house is fresh and feels classy Mauritian. We especially enjoyed the beautifully green and nicely decorated garden, with banana trees, beautiful...

"A well equipped apartment of good size. Hassle free arrival and departure. Two bedrooms each en-suite with aircon and an open plan lounge / kitchen with wrap around veranda. It felt very private. The beach close by appears to be mud so no swimming there but beautiful beaches at Le Morne."

"Marie and John, the owners could not have been more helpful arranging cruise port transfers, a car rental and lots of restaurant and tour recommendations. The apartment is an easy walk to the Flic En Flac beach as well as grocery store and restaurants. The unit is a bit dated but otherwise worked perfectly for us especially with the pool only a few steps away. It suited us perfectly for a 2 week stay"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Chris helped us all the way and supported us with every question. The villa was well equipped for us who cook, but well located for supermarket or restaurant. The beach is walking distance, with tour companies willing to take you for dolphins or visits. The pool was clean and children used it every day. "Lovely almost new villa on the outskirts of Albion, we chose this area as it is one of driest parts of the island. Some noise from a villa going up nearby but overall pretty quiet and a lovely pool. The only missing bit is only 2 sun loungers which for a family is not enough - oddly we have had this with other villas too We found Winners to be the best supermarket up at Cascavelle shopping mall with the most choice and Dodo down in Albion for daily bits like French Sticks Booking very easy and...

"Lovely place to stay with the kids over Christmas . Pool and garden so nice and lovely sunset views over the sea from the balcony. We were sad to leave and Coralie was very helpful throughout. Tamarin is a great spot for beaches, the mountains, and restaurants."

"On our arrival date, the owner told us that they have misread our arrival date and thought we would arrive one day later, the property was over booked, so they led us to the next property, Sunset Villa, that property Sunset Villa was a downgrade from Blue Lagoon Villa which we have originally booked on. After half an hour lying on the big bed, I had 9 bug bites all over my body, on my arms, my legs and my back, could not sleep, so I had to switch to the smaller bed. We would not recommend this...

"Nice accommodation in a lovely rural setting. The hoasts Robert and Elizabeth were so kind and helpful. We arrived following a cyclone - everywhere was flooded and we were delayed several hours in driving from the airport. Robert and Elizabeth waited for us and russled up some food and wine which was greatly appreciated. The grounds are.are very special and you are in the middle of farmland. There is an abundace of wildlife including birds,frogs,giant sails and every insect you can think of....

"The villa was nice spacious, well equipped kitchen, decent size pool to relax in but unfortunately it was to dirty to use most of the time as not cleaned regularly. The location was nowhere near as indicated on the map, it was at the far end of flic en flac beach (coastal Road) had I known this I would not have booked the villa as a long walk to the Spar supermarket and restaurants."

"It was perfect for our needs"

"We stayed comfortably in a two-room villa, close to our cousins, who stayed in a four-bedroom villa. The villa was well-equipped and had everything we needed. They also provided a free shuttle to the beach and shopping areas in Flic en Flac. The villa is pretty new and very clean. The staff are very friendly. Even the guests are very friendly. We had a fabulous time here for 4 days. "
