There are several restaurants within easy walking distance.
Disliked the number of rules at the property -for instance you cannot have your own food and drinks on terrace/ in room yet they sell no food and only a minimal drink selection.
The shower needs to be hooked up as holding it in your hand to shower in 2022 really isn’t acceptable .

"2 nights stay and although we booked b&b we were able to book dinner on the evening we arrived. The hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and accessible, even on the first floor via a very narrow staircase. As 80 year olds we were cautious on the stairs but no problems. The breakfast was fine and sufficient.
The location was perfect for us. We were able to visit the chateaux of the Listrac and also Pauillac very easily."
"Fabulous accommodation; very close to Lacanau Lake with plenty of water sports activities available. Only short drive from Lacanau Océan Resort. We loved our stay here. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely for cooling off and the bakery pre-order service was a nice touch. Moat of all, the warm welcome and friendly staff made our visit. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend Les Vacancioles."

"This is a beautiful well kept property with extraordinary hospitality extended by the Proprietor Alain and his wife and son and staff. They offer a very traditional French experience, from the accommodation to the aperitif to the petit dejeuner. It was magnificent and we cannot wait to visit again. "People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail.
Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "
