La Merveilleuse is a charming family home — a fully renovated 19th-century former dairy, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a small, peaceful village just above the port of Le Palais. We have known Belle-Île for forty years and now we bring our children here. It is with this family spirit that we designed La Merveilleuse to welcome you. The house: • Three very spacious bedrooms (we prioritised space over the number of beds) • Two bathrooms, one of which is large with a skylight above the bathtub • Bright living room with a wood-burning stove and a large table for twelve • Separate kitchen with a five-burner gas stove, state-of-the-art oven, and a table for eight • Sleeps 6 to 8 people (with an additional sofa bed in the living room) The garden: • South-facing, enclosed, and sheltered from the wind — on the island, it's rare PGJyPg • Gas griddle, extendable table for 8-10 people PGJyPg • Dinner served until late, even in April PGJyPg PGJyPg Location: • Walking distance: tennis (2 min), greengrocer (3 min), supermarket (6 min), port and daily market of Le Palais (15 min) PGJyPg • Four beaches within walking distance: Port Guen (13 min), Ramonette (14 min), Bordardoué (25 min), Gros Rocher (35 min) PGJyPg • GR340 coastal path 15 min away PGJyPg PGJyPg All-inclusive: end-of-stay cleaning, sheets, towels (beds made upon arrival), water, electricity, fibre optic internet WiFi, Smart TV with Netflix and Disney+. Babies welcome: 2 cots, high chair, baby bath, potties, toilet seat reducer. Parking: dedicated parking space + possibility of a second car at the top of the village, a 1-minute walk away.
