"Excellent stay. Loved the clubhouse pools and we sure used the hot tub at the house. Kids love sleeping in the bunk room and the arcade game. Lots of parking space was great. Could have used a few more pool towels but not a big deal. With two sets of laundry facilities, it was easy to get laundry done, as we were 22 people. Overall it was a great stay and a great house. Definitely reccomend"

"Pros: easy check-in process, nicely renovated 1912 building, very high ceilings, nice antiques in the rooms and common area, convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants (the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center is close by and definitely worth a visit!). Con: our room was the Judge’s Chamber on the second floor and it faced Main Street. The street was maybe 25’ from our window. Main Street is one lane each direction with parking on each side. The speed limit is maybe 25 mph. We were there on a Friday and Saturday and there was significant traffic noise from work trucks, groups of side-by-sides heading out on tours, Harley Davidson groups rumbling past, etc. It died down around 6:00 pm or so, but it was fairly constant through the day. Yes, we were gone much of the day doing our own sightseeing, but we were in the room enough to definitely notice it. Next time we’d ask for a room that was as far as possible from Main Street."
