Cozy Lead Main St Retreat! Clawfoot Tub, Fire Pit & 5 Min to Deadwood

About this space:

Right on Main Street in Lead, South Dakota — steps from Shivers Brewery, 5 minutes from Deadwood, 30 minutes to Sturgis, and a perfect base for the Black Hills. Come home each night to a gas fireplace, a fire pit out front, and an oversized clawfoot tub. Two bedrooms, two baths, sleeps 4. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and the Mickelson Trail are all easy day trips. Dogs welcome.

The space:

The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a queen — both are upstairs along with the clawfoot tub bathroom. The home comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests across the two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, and the front patio is the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening around the fire pit. The living room has a 55" HDTV with Netflix and Roku, a Bose sound system, and a gas fireplace — basically everything you need for a cozy night in. The downstairs has a split unit AC and each bedroom has its own window AC unit, so everyone can sleep at their preferred temperature. There's a fenced backyard accessible from the rear of the home via an additional set of exterior stairs — nothing fancy, but perfect for letting the dogs out. Please note the path is steep so take care.

Guest access:

Access to the whole home and front patio area. Self check-in via keypad — instructions sent before arrival.

Other things to note:

There's a flight of exterior stairs from the street to the front door — great for the quads, less ideal if mobility is a concern. Once inside, the bedrooms and clawfoot bath are up another flight. The gas fireplace glass gets very hot when in use — if you're traveling with little ones, keep curious hands back from it. We are pet-friendly and love welcoming well-behaved, house-trained dogs. No puppies please. If you have pet allergies, previous guests have brought dogs — we clean thoroughly between stays but want to be upfront. The home is a popular base during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in early August — Sturgis is about 30 minutes away. Book early as dates fill up fast. We are not able to accommodate trailers or RVs — no trailer parking is available at or near the property.
