This was a very clean and quaint home with everything that we needed for a week long stay. Host was very responsive and the house is well stocked. Great location as we were able to walk to everything in downtown Leadville.
Easy to find & close to everything downton, though parking is tight with only street parking available at the house. Clean place, comfy beds, everything needed was available!
I was in town for work and having a nice home place to stay made it that much easier. The place is great very clean. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything I needed. Will definitely stay here again
The property was clean, nicely decorated, and with a well stocked kitchen. Walking distance to many restaurants, stores and museums. And a short drive to many beautiful trails. Hosts were very gracious and helpful, quickly responded to requests for assistance. We’ve rented in Leadville 3 times and this was the best rental.
Place is well maintained. Lots of thoughtful amenities. Can't beat the location. Our favorite VRBO stay to date.
Be aware you need a subscription account to watch TV.
Highly recommend.
The name of this listing should be the crown jewel. Super cute, comfortable, clean and so close to main street. Exactly what we wanted and were expecting. We will be back and recommending to anyone who is heading to Leadville.
The house and hosts were great. The home is in a peefect location to walk to downtown and has easy parking. Very clean and nice setup. Note that one picture shows two twin day beds. They've been replaced them with a queen bed that has a rollout trundle. Worked great for our family of four.
Such a great space, with all the amenities we needed. We were able to cook dinner in the home with no issues. We were also able to walk to shopping and restaurants. Easy entry. Adorable home with plenty of space for us to hang out after a couple of days of snowboarding. I will favorite this place and stay again when we return to Leadville.
This home has a special place in our hearts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to take advantage of the charm and unique character of Leadville. Our purpose was to explore and hike the 14ers, but this home made our stay so cozy and restful that it was oftentimes in serious competition with the adventure that awaited outside. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and providing everything we needed to cook and recover from our challenging experiences outdoors.
My husband and two boys (age 7 and 8) came to ski at Ski Cooper for a few days. Staying downtown in a house was perfect for us. We were able to walk to town for shopping and a dinner out and also enjoy dinner in for a few nights. Two beds and two baths were just right. Thank you for having us!
Super cute home! I loved how clean it was! Having two full baths was a huge bonus for my family as well. The property manager was responsive when the wifi was acting up. I was very appreciative that he tried everything possible to get it to work. The location was perfect for my family to explore Leadville. I highly recommend this place.
The Princess is aptly named. Bright, clean, welcoming.
The neighborhood was comfy and quite the mountain town feel.
Location was ideal: 3 blocks from Mining Museum/HOF, and 1/2 block of Harrison Ave shops and restaurants.
We had 1 problem which was quickly rectified by management.
Looking forward to another visit, thanx
We stayed 3 nights with our kids over Xmas break to be close to Ski Cooper. The house had everything we needed and was spotless, very well equipped. So close to the main street in town you could walk to restaurants, shops, etc. So great to have a washer/dryer with kids and wet ski gear. Quick drive to Ski Cooper. I would’ve given 5 stars but I think they need a bigger TV in the living room, and a TV in the master bedroom. We really enjoyed our stay!
This house is amazingly decorated, inside and out. I stayed here with my husband and my 84 yr old mom, who thought this house was heaven. The living room with the beautiful windows, floors and ceilings was our favorite place to hang out. The chandalires were the icing on the cake. Perfectly outfitted kitchen and bathrooms, and wonderfully comfortable beds. Also a wonderful book collection with lots of information on the history of the area. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Very nice restoration of an old home! Very well appointed, well cared for and very, very clean!
A little tricky to park two cars in front without encroaching on the neighbors.
Would've appreciated a reading lamp in the 1st bedroom.
Location wonderful for walking through the town. So impressed with the near by museums! Found beautiful hikes within half hour drive from Leadville.
This house is beautiful, well appointed, great location, clean, and comfortable. The only issue we had is that the radiators are the loudest we've ever heard, and we have a lot of experience with this kind of heating system. If you're not an extremely heavy sleeper, bring earplugs. Even running white noise on speakers couldn't overcome the literal clanging. Worth the earplugs to stay in a great spot!
Colorado Princess was perfect for my daughter and my hiking trip to the Leadville Area. I have stayed in Leadville many times and rented numerous homes. Having a home with ensuite bathrooms in both bedrooms is a major plus, especially when sharing the home with a teenage girl (make-up is a must even when hiking 🙄). The home was immaculate. The upgrades and finishes were beautiful. Street parking was plentiful. The management was extremely responsive when I couldn't locate the welcome email (my fault). Would highly recommend and would stay at the Colorado Princess again!
The property is wonderful. It was clean, had a great location and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen and baths are nicely updated. We really enjoyed our stay.
The problem was with the lock on the front door. We couldn't get it to lock from the inside as the deadbolt was broken. It took some time but we figured out how to lock it from the outside. During this time I sent multiple texts and left a voicemail for the property manager. His first text did not address the problem and his next one just said 'sorry!' He didn't return my call. I followed up with a photo of the broken deadbolt and additional texts and never received a response.
