Tout semblait reuni pour passer une bonne semaine de vacances entre amis. Au bout de 2 jours nous decouvrons que le lave linge ne fonctionne pas , puis le lave- vaisselle tombe en panne. "Rented this spot in Ticino and it worked out perfectly. Walking distance to a bakery/coffee shop. Had a great meal at Ristorante Sport. Migros grocery store is right down the street. Small village of 1500 people. Close drive to Lugano and only an hour drive to Malpensa airport. The views of the lake are fantastic."

"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"We had a very lovely stay. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The accessibility to town by bus was great. The views were incredible from our room. The a/c worked great. The check in time preferred by the owners is different than what is listed on Expedia. I found them charming and simply would encourage communication. The property rules may be worrisome to some but, we understood they were to keep the property immaculate and it was. Additional swimming hours in midday would have been nice. We hope to return to Lecco and would definitely stay again."
