"Amazing property and beautifully styled. So much space for our families. Our 6 children (x2 families) loved exploring the property, utilising the outdoor games. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely visiting again!"
Peaceful rural retreat close to Blackwood River and Hamelin Bay

"Banksia Cottage was the perfect getaway for our family. It's far enough out of town that we felt like we were in the countryside, yet close enough to easily grab supplies and explore the area's attractions, with the Blackwood River (where my son loved fishing), Hamelin Bay and Augusta all just a short drive away.The location is simply beautiful. We woke to the sound of birds, watched kangaroos grazing in the paddocks and sheep wandering across the fields, and enjoyed stunning views over the pastures, bush and dam, all while sitting on the verandah. One of my favourite moments was relaxing in the outdoor bath while looking up at the stars. It was beautiful!The kids had the best time exploring. There's so much space to run around, and they loved seeing the animals up close and walking down to the dam. There was also plenty of space for them to play cricket and kick a ball.The cottage itself is gorgeous: modern, beautifully styled and thoughtfully equipped with absolutely everything we could have needed. The cosy fireplace, well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms were great.We were able to find the perfect balance between sightseeing, keeping the kids busy and genuine rest. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed and completely de-stressed. We can't wait to come back!"

"This is the perfect location for a relaxing stay - opposite the dog beach and an easy walk to Colourpatch and Flinders Bay. It was magic sitting out on the front deck watching the ocean. The only down side was a couldnt figure out how to make the dvd work but I had plenty of books so only small issue :-)"
