Plenty of choice for the pool areas to relax and it was peaceful and quiet. Our room had a lovely view across the waters and was comfortable, cool and spacious. The food was excellent and a special mention must be made for all the restaurant team who were unfailingly professional but also super friendly, kind and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Lots of charm, the design in the rooms is modern, the breakfast is excellent and very varied. The staff is very friendly and do everything to make you happy. It is important!! The place is not accessible to people with disabilities, there are a lot of stairs inside the room as well.

From the moment we arrived to the when we left two weeks later, Crystal Waters was an oasis of calm and relaxation. The layout of the hotel, spread around 3 super pool areas was excellent and gave it much more of a resort feel. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, both for the wide range of breakfast options and the excellent dinner choices. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and happy to indulge my attempts at the Greek language. If the opportunity arises, we will most definitely return to Crystal Waters.

Awsome hotel with even better staff

Spent 5 nights at this hotel which was awsome but what really made the trip memorable was the unbelievable staff. Best in Greece by far. Irini the front office manager treated us as if we were her family. She was unbelievable and went above and beyond in every aspect. Always smililing and willing to make our stay memorable which it was. Ali was also unbelievable and always went out of his way to come ask us if we needed anything. Older bfast staff were sweet and by the 3rd day new exactly what we wanted without us asking. I cant say enough good things about the staff. Thank you Irini for making our trip pleasurable and comfortable. We will definitely sing your praises and be back.

Good hotel

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a pool. The property was well kept, but slightly dated in places. The 2nd bedroom and bathroom were small in our room. It was however cleaned daily and had comfy beds. The pools were quite shallow I think the deepest was around 1.5m. Lack of sun beds, people would put towels out early morning meaning that it was difficult to find a space. It is on a steep slope, our room was at the top of the slope and the breakfast area main pool and reception were at the bottom. Not for people with mobility issues. All in all a very nice hotel with a good breakfast and very child friendly. Lots of restaurants close by. A car is a must if you want to leave the complex and explore.

My family and I booked Crystal Waters for a 10 night stay and we were very much looking forward to it! The photos and reviews looked promising, unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. We found that for the price that was being charged per night (in the $600/night range), the amenities were seriously lacking and the staff, albeit very friendly, were not attentive. The amenities in our rooms were inexistent - we were only provided with 1 towel per person, a broken kettle, no coffee machine and they do not replenish water upon cleaning of the rooms. The air conditioning worked great, however be warned that it does shut off anytime you open a door or window to the room. The staff would also leave the balcony doors open after servicing the room, so we would come back to an extremely hot room (it was over 45 degrees during our stay). The staff was very nice, however not attentive to guest needs. The location is great! Very close to shops, grocery stores, good restaurants (we would highly recommend Yianni’s) and only a 15 minute drive into Lefkada town. The parking was also very convenient, which was great! We never had an issue with our car. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained, as well as the pool area was clean and inviting. (Just a small note, if you cannot do stairs, this might not be the right hotel for you) Overall, our stay was very nice and we enjoyed our time in Lefkada, however we found that it was not worth the price per night.

Aesthetic over experience

Beautifully decorated hotel, rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. Pool areas are lovely with comfortable sun beds. Would definitely consider upgrading to pool room as they looked fab. Breakfast was good. Staff at pool bar and Emerald restaurant very helpful. Staff at reception were not as attentive, knowledgeable or helpful as would have been expected for a 4 star hotel. Manager was rude and constantly spoke over me during an interaction. Food and drinks very overpriced. Shower doors fitted on wrong side of door so bathroom flooded every time it was used. Nikiana itself not the most attractive village, limited choice of restaurants and nowhere to walk or sit in the evening. However, the NV beach bar close by was nice and it is a good base for exploring the area.
