This newly renovated and furnished apartment is located on a side street in the Waldstraßenviertel, one of Leipzig’s most desirable residential areas. You’ll be staying right in the heart of Leipzig’s vibrant city life, with its diverse offerings of popular and high culture, cuisine from around the world, trendy shops, and lively nightlife. At the same time, the Rosenthal offers peace and relaxation, as well as recreational and sports opportunities. The Rosenthal, connected to the floodplain forests of the Weiße Elster as well as the Elster and Pleiße rivers, runs through Leipzig as a continuous green belt from Lake Auensee in the northwest to Lake Cospudenersee and the Leipzig Neuseenland in the south, inviting you to take walks, hikes, runs, and bike rides. Several boat rental companies and tour operators allow you to explore Leipzig’s “water city”—with its canals and flood control basins—and thus experience the city from a completely new perspective. The apartment’s amenities leave nothing to be desired. The bedroom features a 180-cm-wide double bed, and the entryway has a large closet containing cleaning supplies (vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, broom, and dustpan) if needed, as well as a cot upon request. The separate living room (not a walk-through room) features a 180-cm-wide double bed and a wide sofa that can be converted into another comfortable 160-cm-wide double bed in a single motion, a dining table for six people, a 55-inch flat-screen TV with MagentaTV, Apple TV, Netflix, and Amazon Prime pre-installed so you can access your programmes, a writing desk, and a large sideboard. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a stove, a cooktop, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle, as well as dishes and cookware. The bathroom with a tub and shower invites you to relax. In the hallway, you’ll find a coat rack. We’ll take care of the final cleaning for you. Bed linens, towels, a hair dryer, soap, shower gel, shampoo, an emergency toothbrush kit, and a clothes rack are provided; as well as basic kitchen supplies (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, oil, vinegar, dish soap, dish brush, dishcloths, paper towels, and dishwasher tablets) for the first few days.

Additional Important Information
As of 01.01.2018, the city of Leipzig has introduced a guest tax of 3.00 per person per night. Exemptions apply, among others, to children and adolescents up to the age of 18, as well as to schoolchildren, college students, and apprentices aged 18 to
25. The visitor’s tax is not included in the price of the accommodation and must be collected separately from the guest by the host and remitted to the City of Leipzig.
