A very welcome stay at Eurostar

Lovely reasonably-priced apartment-hotel along the Lis River in Leiria. The staff was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious with a view of the castle - we couldn't have been more pleased! We would gladly stay here again.

A nice clean hotel with surprisingly spacious rooms for Europe. Bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was good. Only downside was weak WiFi. Very interesting area within walking distance with cafes and a nice park. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is Ok. The free underground parking is convenient. The rooms are large and clean, in fact it more like a one bedroom apartment, the free breakfast is excellent. On thee other hand the outside was really disappointing. The views from our third floor windows were on a roof with dirty air conditioning units and another tower like ours. The street outside was kind of run down area with closed dusty windows. Also the elevator windows from the hotel need a good cleaning that other give you a nice view of a castle on the hill.

Lack of hospitality

They have a long ways to go in terms of knowing what hospitality means. They seemed annoyed when I asked once to use the sauna that they so advertised. Ultimately, I wasn't able to use it. They seemed annoyed when I asked to have my room cleaned. Someone did come but looked equally annoyed. I understand it's not the Ritz Carlton, but come on!

It was obvious that they tried to give the property a cosmetic “facelift” but it was skin deep. The things that mattered such as good pillows, quality toiletries, good shower and water pressure and most importantly cleanliness were very disappointing. The bottle of wine was left unopened because I was so disappointed with the quality of things and cleanliness that I was leery about drinking that wine. Breakfast was decent but hot dishes were not being replenished fast enough which I why I ended up not having any. Location is excellent too bad there was major construction work nearby the property and there’s a skating park right in front of the hotel where youth gathers until 2 am skating and making mound noises which their windows are not able to filter out. Nothing VIP about this hotel.

Hôtel appartement très bien pour une famille, c’est spacieux. Pas besoin de véhicule. Toit ai à proximité. De belle balade à faire. C’est top! Parc de jeu enfant juste en face de l’hôtel. Pratique :-) Le ménage est fait tous les jours par les dames de service. Merci Le petit déjeuner compris était vraiment très garni et complet. Parking souterrain compris Par contre la literie est dure, et nous étions au 8eme étage et il y a avais beaucoup de bruit le soir, la nuit. Tel un déménagement. Très peu de wifi

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider eine Katastrophe. Nach nur einer Nacht mussten wir abreisen, da das Hotel in einem völlig unzumutbaren Zustand war. Das Zimmer war schmutzig, mit Haaren auf dem Boden und im Kühlschrank sowie Dreck auf dem Boden und in den Schränken. Am schlimmsten war jedoch der allgegenwärtige Schimmel. Sowohl das Zimmer als auch das Badezimmer waren stark verschimmelt und haben modrig gerochen (s. Foto). Fazit: Dieses Hotel ist in einem absolut inakzeptablen Zustand, und der Umgang mit Gästen lässt stark zu wünschen übrig. Wir können es auf keinen Fall empfehlen.
