"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. "What a relaxing time we had! The ducks come up in the morning and beg to join you for breakfast. People smile and waive in the boats passing by and even a load of cows on a boat came by. We can’t say enough about this lovely rental. Everything was absolutely gorgeous! The finishes were all high end and the relaxation you feel on entering this place is priceless! "Die liebe Frau Lipke hat uns mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt. So war die Anreise, das Einchecken, der Aufenthalt und dasAuschecken super easy. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man benötigt und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Grill und der Garten wurden sofort benutzt und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß auf dem Treetboot und auf dem Motorboot. Das Örtchen Medemblik sowie der Strand liegen fussläufig. Wir werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen, denn die Woche war viel zu schnell vorbei!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Medenblik in this lovely holiday home on the Ijsselmeer. The house had everything we needed, including a lockable shed for bike storage, and the garden with decking directly on the waterway was the perfect place to return to after a busy day cycling. The area has lots to see and visit (as cyclists, we were spoilt for choice). We had a super week, and hope to return one day soon."
