We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had everything you needed plus lots more. It’s tucked away perfectly with the sound of a beautiful creek close by. It was very clean and very well maintained. Lots of room and beds were very comfortable. Close to downtown Blowing Rock and so many other things. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore while still feeling private and peaceful. The cabin itself was beautifully maintained, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!
This cabin is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It is also close to Boone and the town of Blowing Rock. We will definitely be back. There is plenty of land for my pup to walk and explore and a nice creek.listsn listen toporch

The cabin was great. I love how you are hidden in the woods. The kids loved all the games and activities. My husband and I enjoyed exploring the property. What a great location…so close to beautiful Blowing Rock!

Overall great stay
The cabin is spacious and comfortable with lots of games, books, and videos. The property is beautiful with trails to follow and a stream you can hear from the cabin. The king bed in the loft is probably past its prime, the internet was super spotty, and the drive is best suited to 4WD. Be sure to bring paper towels and TO because very little is supplied.

Great Stay at Cabin in the Woods
Place is very clean and well equipped all around; kitchen, entertainment, linens, etc. Very convenient to hiking trails and downtown Blowing Rock was an easy 5 min drive. Loved sitting on the porch and listening to the water babbling in the background. We enjoyed smores by the fire pit every night. We had a fabulous stay!

So beautiful!
We stayed mid October and the weather, leaves, and cabin were perfect! So close to Boone and Blowing Rock but very secluded (which is exactly what we wanted). The cabin was so clean and lovely. We didn’t want to leave!
Beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. We (especially our children) enjoyed exploring the trails and creek on the property. The owners had a big collection of games, board games, toys & trinkets for all ages, as well as a huge collection of books & DVDs you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and care into their vacation rental! Our favorite part was the downstairs game room! We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to return in the future!
Great cabin in the woods. Secluded but only a few miles from the towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. Cabin was very clean and spacious for our family including our pet. The trails behind the cabin were awesome including the creek which is only a few yards from the cabin. Great communication with the property managers. We will definitely be back.
Loved spending a few days here during spring break. The gravel road down to the cabin is steep and curvy. Glad we had all-wheel drive and good weather. But it was worth it for the peace and quiet. Cabin was lovely and well-appointed. Fire pit was great and there are wonderful walking paths down to the stream. My son loved the ping pong and foosball tables. Internet and streaming were spotty (no surprise) but there are DVD players. We mostly stayed outside and enjoyed the views.
We had a great time at this cabin. Perfect size for four adults plus dogs and wonderfully clean, especially for being pet-friendly. So convenient to Blowing Rock, too. Hard to beat that location. As other reviews have stated, the driveway down to the cabin is rough, but we were able to do it in a sedan several times with no issue. Would only recommend an experienced mountain driver handle it, though, and only with some daylight. The deck was amazing for morning coffee and birding. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a great stay in the forest. Very well appointed accommodation with the three bedrooms, fireplace and gorgeous deck.
We were old friends getting together to reminisce about the good old days so the time around the campfire was perfect!!!
The location was also perfect with access to the Blue Ridge Highway as well as restaurants and shopping.

One final note apart from how much we enjoyed the home, setting and location:
I have stayed at a lot of rental properties, and I’ve gotta say that this was the first one where I’ve had to 1) make our own beds when we arrived 2) empty the dishwasher 3) strip our own beds when we were leaving 4) put the bedsheets, towels, etc. in and start the laundry 5) load and start the dishwasher and 6) collect and take out the trash…and pay the $163 cleaning fee.
I look forward to staying here again!!
The house was perfect and so was the location. We spent a lot of time in Blowing Rock right down the road. The only thing about the house is the kitchen lighting. It’s fine for breakfast but hard to see when finding pots and cooking at night. I also got correspondence from Evolve after I booked which I was afraid was a scam, because I was expecting it to be from VRBO. There were nice trails there and the game room was very fun thing to do after dinner. The host was very easy to text with for any questions!
We loved the property and how easy the check-in process was. The creek and land to roam was an adventure ( they even added nice stairs to help with descending and ascending to the creek). We loved that the house had Foosball and Ping Pong and lots of other board games and manipulatives for kids to play with. We underestimated and at first were intimidated by the driveway, but after driving down and up once we loved it. They have did a good job keeping up maintenance on the driveway and it made for a real fun authentic experience. We would definitely go back!!
The cabin was comfortable, clean, well-equipped, convenient to the absolutely beautiful town of Blowing Rock; communication with the owners was very easy. The setting is wonderful. We loved going down the short hill to the creek, and loved reading on the spacious porch, listening to the rain. I will note that the gravel road to the cabin is a bit challenging; you'll need a high clearance vehicle. Do not expect internet or cell service. The owners have provided many DVDs and books for entertainment. We were there to hike and relax. Highly recommend Hellbenders for dinner, and hiking to the Linville Gorge/Falls. Yes, we'd recommend the cabin to friends, and yes, we'd return.
Just a few things others might find helpful when thinking about booking this cabin. Overall our stay was great and the cabin is as described. Communication with owners and rental company was easy! The driveway was not a problem in an SUV, just take it slowly.
For us...the master suite loft has one of the attached bathrooms. That is mentioned online but I read right over it as soon as I read loft. The loft is definitely spacious and has the biggest bed, but even for milder summer temps, it was not comfortable/cool enough at night. There are no air vents but there is a fan. You're also left to waking up with the sun if that's your thing.
We were a party of two couples and decided on the 2 bedrooms downstairs. So one of us couples had to use the bathroom upstairs by the loft. The bed mattresses were comfortable but both beds squeak pretty loud just when moving ever so slightly.
Some kind of map or indicator where the property line ends would have been helpful when exploring the trails. It may be as simple as it goes down to the creek and that's the end, but we didn't explore very far not knowing whose property we were on.
All in all, cute cabin with lots to do off the beaten path yet still close to town and major road.
We've stayed here multiple times and enjoyed every time.
