The Signature Level at Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our all inclusive holiday at Grand Palladium Sicily. We stayed at signature level, but I don't think it's really worth it to pay extra - there is a separate pool for signature level, but we couldn't get a sunbed there due to guests reserving them with towels early in the morning. There is a separate restaurant for breakfast and lunch for signature level, but the main buffet is bigger. I could not fault the setting, cleanliness, and staff, but there are a few negatives to mention: More vegetarian options are needed at all the restaurants, it was quite lacking. There should be dedicated smoking areas instead of smokers allowed to smoke anywhere, as someone stinking out the outside bar with a cigar ruins the enjoyment and atmosphere of those areas. The in-room entertainment is very poor .. only news channels, or paying €7 for a film, and finally the app also doesn't work half the time, which is frustrating as it's needed for looking at menus and making reservations. So, mostly great, but a few things which could be improved. The beach was nice although stoney (but we knew this when booking). The hotel should enforce evicting people from sunbeds left unattended with a towel on for 30 mins so that everyone can have a chance to sit by the pool. There are signs up that say this will happen, but no one is actually doing it."

"We had a wonderful week staying at Casa Pergola. The location is stunning, and the house and facilities that Paul and David have built are incredible. You can tell they have really put their hearts into the house, decor, and the gardens. The outdoor spaces are large and varied, with brilliant views to the surrounding hills and the reservoir below. The weather was great for our stay, and so we spent the majority of time outside making the most of the pool, bbq, and dining area! Paul and David had to be out of town for our arrival, but they communicated well throughout and they kindly arranged for a neighbour to greet us and show us around the house. They were always on hand whenever we needed via whatsapp, whilst also maintaining privacy. As others have mentioned, as you get closer to the house, the access road becomes a gravel/earth track with bumpy and uneven sections. We found this manageable, and worth the effort for the quality of the house, but make sure to get an SUV or high-clearance vehicle and take it slow.If you're looking for a place that's a little more secluded than others, is high quality, and has great facilities, then this is a perfect place to stay. We only wish we could have stayed for longer!"
"Wonderful retreat for a few days and a nice respite from the liveliness of Palermo. Come here for relaxed sophistication and a remote, beautifully renovated Masseria. The pool and views were spectacular."
"The Pros
Perfect Location: The hotel is in an ideal spot, and our room had a great location with a wonderful private patio.
Excellent AC & Cleanliness: The property was very clean. The biggest highlight was having individual mini-split AC controls—a total dealbreaker for us.
Dinner Perks: Unlimited wine carafes during dinner.
The Cons
Cramped Room & Zero Privacy: The room was very small, barely fitting a corner closet and two chairs. Worse, the bathroom was separated from the bed by only a sliding glass door, offering zero privacy and amplified acoustics. A solid door or separate water closet is badly needed.
Poor Bathroom Layout & Maintenance: The trim and plaster need attention, and the shower routinely flooded the bathroom floor. Housekeeping also annoyingly left clean towels on the bidet.
Impractical Amenities: The mini-fridge is too small to hold standard liter water bottles. Additionally, the pool bar is inconveniently located far away in the lobby, with confusing rules about using different glasses at different times.
Misleading Value & Food: For the price, it is misleading that the resort is not all-inclusive—only breakfast is included. While breakfast was acceptable for Italy, dinner is not worth staying around for. You can find much better, cheaper culinary options nearby in Cefalù."
"Angelo is the hardest working individual I have met while in Italy. He is extremely loyal being with the hotel twenty two years
Everyone, Aleso, sp Juicy, Veronica, Guisppe, Paolo, Alice A lee CHE are so kind. Francesca sings beautifully every night. Housekeeping is wonderful.
I had my second flat in six weeks with a brand new car. Aleso made phone calls from home for me.
I run a large service organization in the Pittsburgh area and get emotional about our leadership team and hundreds reporting them.
I am a bit emotional how they welcome they have made me feel while making a major life decision to have a home nearby.
I will come back every year until I buy a home. Then I will throw a party for them.
