Located just a few kilometres from Beaujeu, the historic capital of the Beaujolais region, and the Col des Écharmeaux, on the border with Saône-et-Loire, the cottage is the ideal starting point for exploring a region rich in landscapes and traditions. Walks, hikes, bike rides, or motorcycle trips: the possibilities are endless. The hosts, who are motorcycle enthusiasts themselves, will be happy to recommend some great routes for you to explore! The cottage, attached to their home, has completely separate access. You can enjoy the outdoor spaces: a furnished terrace with patio furniture, a parasol, and a plancha grill, as well as a shared bocce court. The view of the Haut Beaujolais and Mont Sombet—which gave the cottage its name—is simply magnificent. Inside, the ground floor features a spacious, bright living area with a well-equipped kitchenette, a sitting area, and a dining area, as well as a laundry room and a half-bath. Upstairs, there is a family bedroom that can accommodate 2 to 4 people, a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. A baby cot is available. The cottage is equipped with reversible air conditioning, ideal for any season, whether for a short stay, a weekend, or a longer holiday.
