"Good sized gite in beautiful grounds with easy access to the heated swimming pool, hot tub and fishing lake. Hosts, Pat and Tony, were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and available, if needed. As a group of family and friends, we had a great week with something for everyone."

"We enjoyed our stay here! So much history with the house, and a very quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. After fighting through the crowds for the Normandy anniversary, it was nice to come back to our quiet corner of France. Would definitely stay again!"

"Je tiens à souligner et remercier la flexibilité de Marine qui gère la location. Elle a toujours répondu à mes questions, nous avons pu arriver tranquillement et pas de pression pour le départ. C’est un réel atout. Et aussi la Grange est exceptionnelle. Elle permet de passer du temps dehors même si la météo n’est pas au rendez-vous ! "The property was lovely and comfortable with good sound proofing as it was on the main route through the town. Essential amenities were on the doorstep but there were a number of houses and business premises ‘for sale’ indicative of a declining community. This said, it was a good holiday with friendly locals and a good base for exploring the Orne/La Perche region."

"Annonce disant 7 sdb en fait 3!!! Problématique pour les douches et que l’on atteint le nombre de 28. Cuisine pas adaptée au grand nombre, petite et étroite. Vaisselle non adaptée au grand nombre également. Le reste est très confortable et nous avons beaucoup aimé mais nous avons eu la chance d'avoir beau temps. Sinon cela aurait été étroit. "Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost"

"House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."

Fantastic fortnight at Les Pâtis!

"4 of us stayed in Les Chenes gite, which is a 2 bed cottage with its own huge area of garden, outside pergola, and a gentle stream bubbling nearby. Surrounded by trees and grass and birds chirping in the trees, colourful dragonflies and butterflies this was an absolute Eden of peace and calm. We LOVED this place and Dorothee and her husband Gwen were very friendly attentive and just decent lovely people! The clean pool and jacuzzi is actually warm. And the grounds so so pretty too. Plus the town of Vimoutiers with a good size Aldi and Carrefour was literally 4 mins drive away. 10/10 I can’t rate it highly enough."
