"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. Only after we hijacked one of the neighbours keys and left a message through the ski hire guy did we get a call at nearly midnight and finally got let into a room (not the one we booked). They...

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. After needing to call for clarification, we were given a separate address that led us to the same location. There is no parking at the actual hotel because of construction. "Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. "

"A l’arrivé, pas de code d’entrée ni la clé. On a du appelé plusieurs fois pour obtenir cela. 1/2h plus tard, rentée dans l’appart, surprise, le lieu n’était pas nettoyé. Il y a tu des traces de chips, poussière gris au sol, sous le lit. J’ai immédiatement contacté, encore 1 fois, qu’il m’a dit que le lieu était nettoyé… Il ma dit qu’il nous envoie la femme de ménage lendemain mais jamais venue, on a jamais plus entendu! "A wonderful peaceful alternative to an apartment for 1-2 people, this secluded mini-chalet-style studio has all the facilities you need and a lovely sun terrace with fabulous mountain views as well. Bed folds up into the wall and becomes a sofa for daytime in one easy 5-second movement. WiFi signal with a booster in place is strong and the speed is fast. There’s a powerful shower and a good sized washbasin in the bathroom. The kitchen has all types of appliances except dishwasher, traditional oven or freezer. The induction hob, microwave, and other modern appliances are good and the fridge is good quality and size. There’s plenty of cupboard room and an extra storage cupboard outside for skis and empty luggage etc.. The owners, Françoise and André, are wonderful and live in the main chalet next door. They’re they’re if you need them, and not if you don’t and are instantly available via WhatsApp. It is located in a very quiet area of the village, yet only 4 minutes’ lazy walk into the centre. Highly recommended."
