Excellent and convenient ski holidays

It’s the second time we stay at the chalet, our kids (8 and 6) took ski lessons everyday in the morning. The host is very friendly, stays in a chalet next to ours, is always available, and knows the region very well. The chalet is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, has a jacuzzi (that we used everyday after ski) and a sauna. The chalet has a garden with a parking place for your car which makes it easy to load/unload the ski gear (there is a stop for the shuttle bus 50 meters away from the chalet if your are not using a car, the bus brings you to the cable car going up the slopes). The town center is a few minutes away by car (there is a large free parking there) and has a dozen restaurants and cafes, 3 supermarkets, a pharmacie and several ski wear/gear shops, which makes it very convenient. We cooked everyday at the chalet. Our stay was excellent and we will definitely come back next year for the ski season. I strongly recommend the place.

Ski Trip Week

We had a wonderful stay in the chalet. The fireplace kept us warm in the chalet. All of us appreciated the sauna and hot tub after a long day of skiing. We drove the few minutes to Les Contamines base each day but the other ski areas are close by. The owner was always available to answer any questions. A great place!

Er war super, doch die beiden Ersten Tage funktionierte die Sauna nicht richtig, Philippe hat sich aber gut darum gekümmert. Die Unterkunft erschien uns auf den Fotos grösser. Da wir mit zwei Autos waren, hatten wir Parkplatzprobleme. Der Jacuzzi war herrlich und auch das ganze Ambiente. Wir können die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen, vielen Dank Philippe

Vacances de ski

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Philippe, le chalet était comme décrit dans l’annonce, très charmant et propre, dans la nature. Nous avons profité du jacuzzi et du sauna tous les jours. Le chalet est proche du village (deux minutes par voiture ou alors par navette), et a tout ce qu’il faut en termes de restaurants, supermarchés, pharmacie, et un grand parking gratuit au centre. Les enfants ont fait les cours de l’école de ski et toutes pistes étaient ouvertes malgré le manque de neige dans le village. Nous recommandons le chalet et prévoyons d’y retourner.

Un séjour au delà de nos espérances !

Un séjour tout a fait représentatif de l'idée que l'on peut se faire des joies de la montagne. C'est d'abord un site exceptionnel, un petit chalet en bois entouré par la forêt, avec des biches qui viennent le soir tout près de votre porte. Le chalet par lui même est parfait, très cosy, intimiste avec une décoration raffinée sans ostentation. Vous aurez aussi le plaisir de pouvoir utiliser un jacuzzi au milieu de la neige avant de vous relaxer dans le sauna attenant. Quant aux propriétaires, disponibilité, efficacité et sympathie les caractérisent ; au final, ce sont des amis que nous avons rencontré. Nous recommandons vivement ce châlet, agréable aussi bien en hiver qu'en été. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Un grand merci à Philippe, notre hôte, qui tout mis en oeuvre pour que notre séjour se déroule de façon optimal. Superbes souvenirs

Chalet et propriétaire aussi chaleureux l un que l autre. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et avons passer un superbe séjour qui nous laissera des souvenirs. Mention spéciale car il est très difficile de trouver des locations qui accepte les chiens, et pour nous il est inconcevable de passer nos vacances sans notre chien.

Chaleureux chalet

Séjour en février avec nos 2 filles ados, nous avons été comblés : Chalet tout en bois, avec tout le confort nécessaire et bien chauffé : coin salon très accueillant (canapés confortables, plaids, coussins, cheminée au gaz qui chauffe bien, ensoleillé en journée, télé avec canal sat, seul bémol : wifi très instable, mais ce n'était pas prioritaire pour nous.), Cuisine équipée où rien n'a manqué (grille pain, cafetière, petit lave vaisselle, four, appareils à fondue et raclette, plancha). Chambre principale agréable, literie confortable. Mezzanine uniquement pour le couchage ( on ne tient pas debout) de 2 enfants/ados. Salle de bains parfaite (grande douche à jets, double vasque, rangements). Possibilité de louer un chalet (chambre unique) pour un couchage 2 places supplémentaire juste en face. Décoration et ambiance chaleureuses. Terrasse bien exposée, équipée (barbecue, tables, banc....). Jacuzzi extérieur juste parfait!!! En après-midi comme en soirée (ambiance lumineuse sympa), nous l'avons utilisé tous les jours! Sauna bien aussi. A 3 minutes en voiture du centre ville des Contamines, balades accessibles directement du chalet. Navette qui passe juste en bas du chemin. Propriétaire chaleureux, disponible et attentif mais pas envahissant; il a le souci que le séjour se passe bien. Pas de ski alpin en raison du covid mais multiples activités (ski de rando, randonnées, raquettes, traineau tiré par cheval ou chiens, visite ferme...). Nous avons été très bien accueillis au chalet, lors des activités et dans les magasins (fromages délicieux!!!). Vente à emporter dans plusieurs restos. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, merci Philippe.

Great French Alps Escape

We are Americans living in Paris and wanted to see Mont Blanc without staying in the touristy Chamonix. We hit a home run with the neighboring village, Les Contamines. This town is very charming and our chalet was placed in an ideal location with a beautiful mountain view. The owners could not have been more accommodating from check in to check out. Their primary concern was our happiness and answered all of our questions quickly. The Chalet is equipped with all the essentials and is close to markets and outdoor activities while nestled in a quiet setting. I highly recommend this property and hope we have time to return again.

Un cocon très agréable

Un joli petit chalet avec spa sauna et wifi, donc quand il fait mauvais (2 jours sur 9 durant notre séjour) on ne s'ennuie pas, on se croit en thalasso... L'emplacement est parfait, et notre hôte est très discret et très efficace quand il vous manque quelque chose.
