Great multi lingual staff, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel and especially the gardens, with the river and working restored water wheel. A great location to explore the nearby attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended and would stay here again if in the area.

Very nice hotel. We like it as we have stayed here before. The only disappointment we can find is that they don’t tell you until you have arrived that the restaurant is no longer open. It used to be very good.

The parking lot entrance is on the opposite side of the road, which is not obvious. Avoid driving down the front entrance as it is challenging to get back out. But if you correctly turn into the driveway on the opposite side of the road, access is very nice. While it was a hot day, the room cooled off nicely with both windows open. Very much enjoyed our stay and recommend it. We sat out on the lawn by steam and fed the ducks. Very walkable to the town center. I thought it would be more of a walk based upon what others report, but you are basically in the heart of town.

Séjour agréable. Personnel au top, discret mais efficace. Le parc était très agréable le soir pour palier à la température qui a atteint 40°C durant notre séjour en août. Assez difficile de trouver l'accès au parking principale, via un petit chemin indiqué par un tout petit panneau au bas d'un muret, visible uniquement en venant du centre ville. Si vous venez par la route de Sarlat, vous ne le verrez pas. Cabine de douche un peu petite, mais fonctionnelle. Adresse à recommander sans hésitation.

This is so quaint. You sleep with the sound of rushing water and the subtle boom of the mill, and even on a hot day it’s cool. We loved the deep bathtub and breakfast was good.

Charming and welcoming place to stay

The welcome we received was warm and personal, and the level of hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional. Even my need for gluten-free bread was taken care of, both during breakfast and at the wonderful restaurant connected to the hotel. Our dinner at the restaurant was the best meal we had during our 4 days in Les Eyzies. We are looking forward to returning to Moulin de la Beune.

Les photos du site Internet de l'établissement donnent l'illusion d'un écrin de verdure bucolique; en fait, le bâtiment est flanqué sous un pont, en plein centre du village, et dispose de très peu de parking. La chambre était petite, propre, mais la cuvette des wc séparés n'avait pas été nettoyée avec soin. Et surtout, le petit déjeuner à 12€ par personne est totalement scandaleux, compte tenu du buffet proposé. Quant au tampon sur la facture, qu'il a fallu demander, il indique un hôtel du même nom à ... Antibes! Certes, la clientèle anglaise ou espagnole doit être moins regardante, mais comme elle peut-être, nous ne reviendrons pas.

Most scenic, atmospheric, good sized rooms, separation of toilet and bath. Comfortable beds. Scrupulously clean. Most hospitable Jenna. No hairdryer, difficult parking, curved stairways made movement of luggage difficult. Close to Font de Gaume and in the centre of the caves of Dordogne. Very reasonable cost for facilities provided. Should be a sink in the toilet room to allow for washing after using the toilet.
