Beautiful, comfortable and cosy... luxury hotel

We visited Les Gets for the first time and our stay at the Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte could not have been better. We were warmly greeted by reception, had the most amazing room and so impressed with the cosy lounge. The breakfast was delicious, the location perfect as directly by the slopes and lifts (if skiing). The most relaxing luxurious stay in a quality hotel. We will return, thank you for making our break special.

Great hotel, right in front of the slopes and in the center of Les Gets. Breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of local specialties. Ample dining options in the hotel and around Les Gets. Nice pool and spa areas.

Fab location, excellent food in the restaurant, the service was outstanding, your staff are superb. One tiny tiny thing that could be improved, the bar could have been opened up earlier. We wanted to have a business meeting at 4pm, beautiful comfortable seating area, perfect for a meeting but couldn’t get any drinks for our guests. Otherwise an A1 experience, thank you

We had a wonderful stay here, right at the foot of the slopes. Our room was amazing as we were on the corner and had a wrap around balcony. It was clean on arrival and serviced daily. Breakfast was nice although there could have been more warm vegetarian options for my friend. The spa facilities were nice after a day on the slopes although the jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer. The staff were warm and friendly and helpful. Ski lockers were a bit small but there is a ski hire shop next door which was handy. Despite a few minor things I’ve still given it 5 stars as I would definitely stay there again and hope to next year.

Lovely hotel. we stayed in the summer so not their peak season. It was great but was so hot (designed to be cosy for snowy winters!!) and when we asked for a fan, the first staff member told us there weren't any. We asked again and someone else. ( much more helpful) found one for us. The area is great, we have been in winter for skiing and in summer for mountain biking. Make sure the lifts are open before you book! Walking/cycling in summer are amazing especially with the lifts. Cycle hire shop that we used was fab. Lots of shops and cafés nearby. The hotel's pool is one of the nicest indoor pools I've seen. Overall amazing.

I did not like the fact there is no mirror in the room and no English subtitles no WiFi code in the room but to top it off building work in the morning with no notification I was not impressed being woken up after travelling basically all day

Terrible! Don’t waste your money!

We were disappointed that every evening, the fire was not lit in the main lounge nor was the bar open. We asked to get a drink and were told the bar does not open until Saturday 23rd but when we spoke to a man on reception, he said he would get us a drink. We made it clear that we would have liked to sit by the fire and enjoy a drink in the evening but the fire was not lit once. The only night it was lit was on Thursday when we made a complaint but it was too late as we had left to go elsewhere. We understand that we are staying pre-season; however, we booked with the presumption that the lifts would be open (as stated on the Les Gets website). Whilst we understand the hotel is not busy and won’t be until the season begins but what about the guests that are staying in the hotel like is? It is not difficult to have the fire lit and to have someone on the bar to serve your guests? On another note, the swimming pool was freezing as was the jacuzzi. This was both in the morning and in the afternoon- it was not an enjoyable experience. Other guests also felt the same and we even heard a French couple complaining how cold it was! There were also only a few towels, the two times we went, we had to share a towel! It was really not very enjoyable at all.

Réception et personnel très aimables. Chambre confortable, bien décorée, upgradée, bonne idée d’avoir une seconde porte d’isolation du bruit du couloir. On travers la rue en sous-sol par tunnel pour espace spa. Grand hammam, sauna sous-sol (bémol douche sensorielle cassée), puis piscine (pas très chaude à 20 degrés), jacuzzi et en extérieur un sauna et jacuzzi En intersaison petit déjeuner correct mais assez limité en diversité.

Parfait!!

Formidable séjour!! Tout était parfait!!! Petit déjeuner varié et qualitatif. Etablissement bien situé, très propre et joliment décoré. Personnel aimable et professionnel. Le restaurant est également une belle découverte, nous nous sommes régalés. Piscine et spa agréables et paisible, peu de monde. Et un grand merci pour le surclassement!!!!
