Top Les Houches Hotel Reviews

CGH Le Hameau de Pierre Blanche

10/10 Excellent

"It was a one-week long stay with a group of colleagues (8 total). Usually we rent the same chalet in Chamonix but this year it wasn’t available because of renovation so I looked for alternatives in the valley. This property in Les Houches is very spacious and well maintained although the bathrooms would benefit from renovation. The facilities on-site were great (sauna, pool, etc.) The location is quiet and remote. There is a very easy rock climbing area (good for children) about 5min walking. And some sports facilities. There were people playing tennis outside until sunset but it wasn’t too noisy. Things to keep in mind: (i) the laundry on-site is expensive which isn’t usual for chalets in Chamonix - it’s typically included; (ii) the location is 2km away from the center of Les Houches - if you’re without a car prepare to walk 8min from the bus stop Le Prarion or 15min from the train stop Viaduc Ste Marie (Google Maps don’t know the trail to go there!); (iii) the nearest grocery store is also 2.5km away."

10/10 Excellent

"Just back from our second visit to the chalet this summer - me, my husband and our 2 dogs. We love it here, it’s a real home from home in the mountains! The chalet is really well equipped and comfortable and the view of the mountains from the garden is stunning, missing it already and can’t wait to come back again next year."

Charming house with views completely refurbished, decor is neat and warm,

10/10 Excellent
