APARTMENT The Kandahar apartment is a modern, two-bedroom apartment with a flexible layout, located within walking distance of the Bellevue gondola. The apartment is just a short walk from the centre of Les Houches, and its convenient location makes it an ideal choice for families looking for a hassle-free mountain getaway. The apartment is fully equipped for rental, with ample storage for skis and bikes, a secure garage, and a balcony offering incredible views of the Mont Blanc massif. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and free local transport.

LOCATION
The apartment is located in a small residence, set slightly back from the road, and just a stone’s throw from the Bellevue gondola, shops, bars, and bakeries in Les Houches. The Les Houches ski area ranges in elevation from 950m to 1,900m. From the summit, you’ll enjoy a spectacular 360° view of the Mont Blanc massif. And with 55 km of trails winding through the forests, you’ll discover the true joys of skiing. The trails in Les Houches are located on grassy slopes, so even if the snow is thin, there’s little chance of scratching your skis or snowboards on rocks. The off-piste area is generally open all season thanks to the excellent snow conditions on the sheltered lower slopes, which means you won’t have to wait in line for the gondola back down to the village—always a bonus! The slopes at the top of the mountain range from the green “nursery” runs all the way down to the famous black run “Verte,” used for the Kandahar Ski World Cup! In the summer, Les Houches is well known for its mountain biking and long descents down to the valley floor (950-1900m). The trails here range from gentle intermediate runs to advanced tree runs and steep descents. One of the locals’ favourite runs is the descent from the top of the Prarion gondola to the villages of St. Gervais and Le Fayet. There are a number of different options, offering long and exhilarating descents all the way down.

Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, and stove. One double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and shower, one twin bedroom, and a family bathroom with a toilet, laundry area, and bathtub. The basement offers ample storage space with boot warmers and a large area for sitting and changing, a ski locker, and bike storage. Guests will also have access to a private garage on the property.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
The apartment is sold with a catering service. Self-catering bookings include linens, end-of-stay cleaning, and the local tourist tax. You can check in at the apartment between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM—we may be able to arrange a later check-in, but this must be requested in advance (there is a €70 surcharge for late check-in).
