"My family needed 2 rooms and when we first arrived the room my daughters & I were offered smelled strongly of ammonia. My husband and son’s room, down the hall, did not have that smell. When we complained to the front desk the gave us 2 new rooms on a different floor that were adjoining. (I don’t know why we weren’t offered adjoining rooms to begin with)
Over all the stay was fine, the 2 new rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is difficult to walk to other places because it is way up on a steep hill, so catching a taxi or shuttle is highly recommended. The pool and the restaurant on property was nice. My kids LOVED the pirate store and museum, check the hours because it’s only open at certain times."
